Chapter 44 Little Lady
Chapter 44 Little Lady
Jiang Youzhen had no idea what had happened in the girls' dormitory. He only knew that he heard a text message ringtone while packing his luggage. The short sound startled him, and he excitedly grabbed his phone.
The content displayed on the interface left him somewhat confused.
The text message was from Kim Tae-yeon, but she asked about my debut work from a few years ago.
The girl in his memory didn't seem interested in these gore horror movies, but he was happy to answer her questions and told her that he had renewed his contract with the production company for three more films.
Of course... his favorite work is still his first film, which was also his debut as a screenwriter. At least in terms of the actors, Mads Wu and several other actors who played youth idol roles had very good acting skills.
Handsome men and beautiful women are what make horror movies appealing.
Because of this text message, Jiang Youzhen even dug out the movie DVDs he had brought back to Korea before, put them in a bag, and placed them in the most conspicuous place.
The two were still chatting late into the night. He was a little curious; at this hour, Kim Tae-yeon should have gone to sleep, so why was she still chatting with him?
Thinking this way, he asked the question.
But the reply she received was like a long essay. She complained that Tiffany dragged so many people to watch a horror movie, and that she had to choose to watch it at night. She was already very sleepy, but now she was wide awake.
After reading the content, Jiang Youzhen tilted his head, wondering why he didn't think his movie was scary.
...He admitted that some scenes might be quite scary, but wouldn't it be even scarier if so many people watched a horror movie?
After a brief moment of mental blankness, Jiang Youzhen took his phone, lay down on the bed, and decided to continue chatting with the girl.
If she doesn't sleep, then I don't want to go to rest so soon either.
Their contact didn't end until almost 3 a.m., and Kang Woo-jin realized he hadn't received a reply to his text message for a while.
The morning sun wasn't very strong, and the wind was a bit chilly. Various alarm clocks rang out early in the morning in the girls' dormitory.
At this moment, they all regretted watching three horror movies so late last night. In the end, they were scared and didn't get enough sleep.
Kim Tae-yeon was still dazed when she woke up. By the time she came out, everyone else had already finished washing up.
It's better to wait a little longer, that way I won't have to rush to wash up.
With this thought in mind, Kim Tae-yeon had just entered the bathroom when she inexplicably felt a bad premonition. But looking at herself in the mirror, she didn't understand where this feeling came from.
They all came back together, but it depended on how fast they went out. By the time she changed her clothes, grabbed her things, and left, the others had already disappeared.
Tiffany sent her a message saying she was going to buy breakfast first and they would meet at the breakfast shop later.
"Why is Tiffany running so fast? Is she trying to queue up with Sooyoung and the others? How can she possibly squeeze past them?"
After reading the message, Kim Tae-yeon unconsciously shook her head and smiled. As she walked downstairs, she also saw the message that Kang Woo-jin had sent in the early hours of the morning.
It was only then that she remembered that she had fallen asleep in bed without replying to the message.
In a moment of anxiety, she quickly typed a reply, but then she thought about how Jiang Youzhen was leaving for France today, and wondered if he was already on the plane or still asleep.
Before she even stepped out of the dormitory building, she stopped in her tracks. Her gaze fell upon a black car parked outside. It looked familiar... like the car she and Kang Woo-jin had taken when they went out to rehearse their lines that day.
"Anders?"
The girl tentatively called out softly, but when she reached the door, she saw that Jiang Youzhen was not the only one standing in front of the car.
And Mads Wu!
The gentle morning sunlight filtered through the gaps in the building and fell upon them. The father and son had dressed up specially before going out; their clothes were eye-catching, their hair was neatly combed, and just looking at their faces, one could feel their ultimate charm.
Compared to Kang Woo-jin, Mads-Oh is more like an elegant gentleman who has stepped out of the old era. He holds a bouquet of flowers in his hands, and with a charming smile on his face, he warmly greets the guests with open arms.
"Little lady, we meet again. Oh~ I should call you Little Lady now. I can't believe you've become even more adorable in just a few years, like a fairy from Disney, so... ehhhh?"
Before the old father could finish his shameless praise, Jiang Youzhen ruthlessly pulled him back.
He took the bouquet from Mads-Oh and handed it to Kim Tae-yeon, his smile gentle and calm. "Sorry, my dad's unreliable. We're leaving for the airport soon, and I just wanted to come see you before I left."
Kim Tae-yeon stared blankly at the bouquet of flowers in front of her, but after regaining her senses, she quickly greeted Mads Oh, "Uncle Mads, hello! It's been so long! You look... you haven't changed at all. The movie you watched last year was really good; I went to see it in the theater."
Mads Wu looked at her with loving eyes and said gently, "No wonder the movie was a success with your support at the box office, Anders. When we get back, we must treat you to a meal."
...
Listening to his father's irreverent yet amusing tone, Jiang Youzhen felt an urge to roll his eyes, but he thought that would lower his image in the girl's eyes, so he held back.
Kim Tae-yeon accepted the bouquet of flowers and also accepted Mados Oh's invitation to dinner. It had been a long time since she had seen this elder, but she always remembered his kindness, so she was in a good mood at the moment.
until...
"I found these yesterday. They're movie DVDs I brought back from New York. When my dad saw them, he insisted on bringing his films over too. You can take a look if you're interested."
Looking at the bag full of DVDs, Kim Tae-yeon suddenly felt a bit tired.
No way, not again?
"The things are a bit heavy, let me help you take them upstairs. I can also take you to your company."
Hearing Kang Woo-jin's gentle voice, Kim Tae-yeon quickly processed the matter, subconsciously glanced upstairs, hesitated, and then agreed.
Mads Wu took out the sunglasses hanging on his collar and put them on. He watched as his son lowered his height to hear the girl speak clearly, and the girl's petite and graceful figure looked adorable no matter how you looked at her.
They're such a perfect match!
He glanced around and, finding no one paying attention, couldn't help but joke, "Young lady, Anders, I'll cover for you. Go ahead without worry."
Kang Woo-jin "......
What are you going there for? I'm just going to deliver something!
Out of politeness and respect, Jiang Youzhen placed the bag in the entryway and immediately left the house, keeping his head down the whole time so as not to see anything he shouldn't.
This is the women's dormitory; he won't offend them.
Kim Tae-yeon noticed his reaction and smiled slightly. She liked Kang Woo-jin's self-conscious behavior without needing to be reminded, and she also liked the atmosphere between them.
Seeing that it was getting late, she thanked him softly and closed the door.
