He excitedly accepted the Holy Father Values.

He thought everyone was watching Harry Potter.

I didn't expect so many people to be paying attention to him.

These Father Points must have been given to him by the professors at Hogwarts.

It seems everyone is worried that he's jealous of Harry.

That's why I was moved by his magnanimity when he made those moves.

Darren laughed happily.

In that case, it seems even easier for him to siphon off "Holy Father Points".

Chapter 45 Entering Slytherin

Darren noticed that Harry seemed to have been communicating with the Sorting Hat for quite some time.

The teachers around him all looked anxious, but Dumbledore had a smile on his face, as if he knew what had happened.

"Gryffindor!"

After a long silence, the Sorting Hat finally shouted.

"We have Potter!"

"Great!"

"Harry Potter belongs to Gryffindor!"

"Harry Potter!"

"..."

In the Great Hall, the Gryffindor table erupted in cheers.

Professor McGonagall seemed to be trying to maintain order, but she couldn't help but smile herself.

Finally, Gryffindor quieted down.

She then continued reading: Darren Porter!

"Potter?"

"who is this?"

"Harry Potter's brother?"

"How come I've never heard of it?"

"..."

Darren never expected that he would receive so much attention.

His face was flushed red from being squeezed, and he looked incredibly cute.

Professor McGonagall patted his shoulder reassuringly and whispered, "Go, child, don't be afraid!"

"Thank you, Professor McGonagall!"

Darren thanked him sincerely.

Professor McGonagall's smile widened.

"Go on, you polite child."

Darren "obediently" walked to the Sorting Hat, carefully picked it up, and put it on his head.

"Ah, what a kind child. No one has ever treated a hat with such politeness."

Darren heard Mr. Sorting Hat chuckle softly.

He grinned shyly.

[Ding, Legilimency detected. Do you wish to falsify your memories?]

[Disguise, and convey what I'm thinking.]

Darren wasn't surprised that hats could be captivating.

I just don't know if Dumbledore intervened.

The boy smiled happily upon receiving his acceptance letter.

……

The boy stopped a bullying of Muggles.

……

The boy told everyone that all lives are equal.

……

The boy stood in front of the girl he had just clashed with.

……

The boy helped the red-haired girl up and kindly coaxed her with candy.

……

The boy enthusiastically helped the black-haired boy into the station, and then happily went outside to wait for his older brother.

……

The boy saw his brother enter Gryffindor and thought, "I can't let my brother down."

……

"I don't like watching these."

Mr. Sorting Hat said with some regret.

It doesn't like to see things that make it sad.

That would make one of its hats feel uncomfortable.

Although it has no heart.

It's just a thinking hat.

“Child, let me think… You can go to Ravenclaw; I see you have a strong desire for knowledge.”

You could also go to Hufflepuff; the kids there would probably love you.

Hmm, do you want to stay closer to your brother?

You could go to Slytherin. There are ambitious kids there, and some bad ones too, but you might make some great friends there.

Oh, that's really close! Most Slytherin classes are with Gryffindor!

Why can't you go to Gryffindor? Is it because you don't have the courage?

No, no, no, child, don't worry like that. The hat won't let you go to Gryffindor because you're too brave.

The Hat has seen your memories; you always shield others from danger. If you were to enter Gryffindor, the Hat worries that one day you might die while shielding others from curses.

The hat thinks you should become a bit more cunning, or perhaps that word isn't so bad for you!

Darren felt the Sorting Hat seem to be in a very good mood as it spun around his head once, and then continued:

"My lovely little fellow, the hat likes you very much. I hope you can come to Dumbledore's office to play with the hat often in the future."

"Yes, yes, I live there. As for your final house, don't worry, I've already made my decision—Slytherin!"

The Sorting Hat shouted loudly.

Darren stood up with a surprised expression.

Not only him, but everyone in the auditorium was stunned.

Harry Potter's brother actually went to that gathering place of dark wizards.

"I knew it! I knew that the person who was with that woman couldn't possibly be a good person."

Ron's voice rang out as well.

Darren's face suddenly turned pale.

He quickly looked at Harry, seemingly seeking his comfort.

Harry looked back blankly.

To be honest, he still hasn't realized it.

The boy who helped her on the train turned out to be her twin brother, Darren Porter.

Harry still felt uneasy thinking about what Ron had said on the train.

That Voldemort killed their parents, how can Darren go to the college that guy came from?

Especially when he heard what Ron said.

"How could someone who's with that woman be a good person?"
