"Darren is really smart!"
Hermione exclaimed in admiration.
Darren shook his head somewhat embarrassedly, looking particularly shy.
“Oh, Darren, you can’t do that. If you do that when girls are teasing you, they’ll keep teasing you endlessly, and it’s really annoying.”
You should learn from me, argue with them until they cry or argue back, that's how..."
Ron said excitedly.
Darren completely ignored the rest of what he said. "How do you stay single? Want to learn your secrets?"
No, he just enjoyed being teased by girls. Ron had no idea what that kind of pleasure was! Darren shook his head, trying not to think about it.
He watched nervously as Harry mounted the broomstick and quickly said, "Brother, let me do it!"
[Ding, Fatherhood Value +50]
"Alright, I'll do it. I'm fine with it!"
Harry loved this activity, and even though it was the school's broken broom, he rode it happily.
After searching for a while, he found his target. Finally.
Harry took the key.
He forcefully shoved the key into the lock, then rushed into the room with Darren and the others.
The door slammed shut instantly.
They felt that if they were even a step slower, they might be riddled with holes by these keys.
"My God!"
Just as Harry was still feeling shaken, Hermione's exclamation brought him back to his senses.
He turned around and looked back.
This is a huge chessboard. Huge chess pieces stand on it. Black and white pieces face each other. What should they do? They looked at Darren.
Darren thought for a moment, then used Obscurus and charged forward madly. He rampaged through the board, smashing many pieces in the process.
He pretended to be panting and said, "It's a bit difficult. I'll come and get you now!"

"No, no, no, Darren, you just stand there!"
"Yes, you can't possibly take us all out by yourself!"
"These pieces will regenerate quickly, and you might get killed by them. Just stand there!"
Harry and the others all rejected Darren's suggestion.
Darren is always very naive; if they agree, they're afraid he'll risk his life to send them there.
Forget it.
"We might need to play chess to get there."
Ron looked around and exclaimed in surprise, "I'm not trying to criticize you, but your chess skills are really not very good... Let me play!"
[Ding, detecting a scene where the Holy Father System is in action around the host, a temporary task is now issued:]
Just as Ron was about to throw his life away, the host, at the last second, stepped in front of Ron and pushed him out, saying:
Don't worry, I'll be fine!
[Ding! Upon completion of the mission, you have received the reward of fire resistance. Would you like to accept the mission?]
Fire resistance? That's pretty impressive!
It seems like there's fire in the last level. Could the system have prepared it for him in advance?
As expected of his thoughtful system. [Accept] Darren chose to accept. Then he looked at Ron.
As time passed, Ron's face became increasingly drenched in sweat. Finally, with only two steps left, Ron said, "This is the only way... I have to be eaten... then you can checkmate the King, Harry!"
His eyes were resolute, clearly prepared to die. Darren remained silent, his gaze fixed intently on Ron's position.
It's not far; if he uses Silent Shot, he can jump directly over without triggering other pieces.
He is a saint, but he cannot hold anyone back.
If he triggers other pieces, causing Ron's efforts to be ruined, his character might collapse.
So, just as Ron stepped forward, ready to be "eaten," Darren suddenly ran up to Ron and sent him off the board.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine!"
[Ding, congratulations to the host for gaining fire resistance]
Fire Resistance: No fire will harm the host. Excellent!
Darren almost burst out laughing.
He suppressed his true self to maintain his public image.
Ron stared at Darren in astonishment. How did he get here from there all of a sudden?
However, he still shouted loudly: Watch out!
The White Queen's stone arms slammed down on Darren's head, and Darren raised his fist to meet her attack.
With a deafening roar, the White Queen shattered into pieces.
"Brother, hurry!"
After the White Queen shattered into pieces, Darren sat on the ground, his face pale as he looked at Harry.
"Darren!"
Harry cried out in concern and even considered rushing over, but his composure stopped him.
Harry moved three steps to the left.
He looked nervously at the White King.
The White King took off his crown and threw it at Harry's feet... They won!
All the pieces made way for them, and they could now move freely on the board.
Harry rushed to Darren's side, only to find that Darren was covered in cold sweat.
"Darren, how are you now?"
Harry asked worriedly, he could even feel Darren trembling. "How could he be so stupid?"
He was clearly terrified himself, so why did he always put others first?
Harry thought with a mixture of sadness and admiration.
He actually hoped that Darren could be safe and sound, instead of always standing in front of others.

Chapter 119 Hermione and her eldest son!
"I'm fine, brother!"
Darren looked at Harry's expression, shook his head quickly, and stood up with great effort.
"Brother, I'm alright!"
He reiterated his statement.
Harry's lips trembled; he even felt a slight urge to scold Darren. This guy called him reckless, but it turned out he was even more reckless than him. The Sorting Hat really did it on purpose.
Darren's personality is nothing like what you'd expect in Slytherin. However, his thoughts strangely overlap with those of the Sorting Hat.
If Darren could learn some of Slytherin's cunning and shrewdness, that would be wonderful.
That way, he wouldn't always have to worry that Darren might one day sacrifice himself to save someone.
"Darren, thank you!"
Ron said gratefully, and Darren was finally spared Harry's death stare. He quickly shook his head and said, "Don't say that. You and Hermione came into this dangerous place for my brother and me. I can't let you put yourself in danger because of us."
Brother, Ron, Hermione, I have the ability to save people, and I enjoy saving people.
Even if one day I die saving someone, you should be happy for me, because I will never regret it!

The four full-value "Holy Father" testifies to the emotion felt by everyone present.
Darren was overjoyed. Those four shouts of "Holy Father" had clearly restored some of his health, at least making up for the deficit he had incurred from using "Obscurity" twice.
"Alright, cheer up! I'm not really going to die. I know what I'm doing!"
Darren comforted them.
