Chapter 133 An Eye-Catching House-Elf!

After Dumbledore repeatedly confirmed with him, he realized that Nicolas Flamel was telling the truth, and also understood why Nicolas Flamel had done so.

He actually managed to delve into Darren's inner world.

Although the outcome was good, such behavior was far too dangerous.

If Darren had even the slightest impure intentions, Nicolas Flamel would be transformed into a body that is only alive as flesh, as if kissed by a Dementor.

He will be buried alive.

There was no way he could embark on the great adventure with Perenel. However, he adopted Darren.

This should be a good thing.

Darren's whereabouts were indeed a concern for him.

Harry should inherit the Potter family line; he has already discussed this with the Potter family portraits.

They did not provide a specific response.

But if they agree to let him give the Invisibility Cloak to Harry, doesn't that prove that the Potter family gave it to Harry?

Then Darren looks so pitiful.

So, since Nico wants to mentor Darren, that's a good thing. Nico won't let Darren go hungry in the future.

Even if Nico doesn't give Darren a single penny, the knowledge he gains from Nico is priceless.

I imagine the Potter family will agree.

As for Darren… Nico will have to figure it out himself; he's not willing to deceive the cubs anymore.

He took out a piece of stationery and wrote a long, eloquent compliment on Nicolas Flamel, then had Fox give it to Patsy.

Patchouli will read it to the Potter family ancestors…

Harry stared in astonishment at the house-elf before him. Yes, he recognized the house-elf.

Because there was one in the Potter family.

That was a highly respected house-elf.

Whenever Patches stood next to Harry, Harry always felt like she was a stern elder.

However, Darren always said that Patty was a very gentle and sentimental elder.

Harry suspected that this was Darren's first reaction upon seeing his elders. But whatever the case...

Harry thought Patsy was very respectable.

It not only earns money, but also takes care of his and Darren's clothes and buys them supplies regularly.

He didn't know the price of those items, but from the way other people looked at them, he knew they were quite valuable.

At first, he was embarrassed to accept it, but when he learned that Darren had asked him to buy it, he happily accepted it.

Darren is always so thoughtful.

This always made him, the older brother, feel embarrassed.

However, this is also a testament to their deep brotherly bond.

But that's all beside the point. What he really wanted to know was, could there really be such a big difference between house-elves?

The house-elf in front of me looks a bit like Patchouli.

They all had unusually large eyes, and some were even like bat eyes. What shocked Harry the most was that the house-elf looked extremely dirty.

It was sitting on Darren's bed, and Harry thought he would definitely get Aunt Petunia to throw Darren's blankets and sheets away in a little while.

If Darren saw this, he'd be horrified. No, he'd be horrified by the stench... and his eyes would be burned.

It's really ugly.

Are there really any house-elves this unclean?

Fortunately, Darren is currently entertaining guests with his Uncle Vernon and Aunt Penny.

This was a business partner of Uncle Vernon's company, and Aunt Penny prepared a sumptuous feast in preparation for meeting them.

Darren wanted to pull him along, but he really didn't want to face that scene, so he insisted on coming up.

Of course, Darren thoughtfully provided him with enough food so that he wouldn't go hungry upstairs.

He was somewhat relieved that Darren wouldn't have to see that scene. He could just be the older brother and bear the burden.

Who are you?

Harry asked cautiously.

He could hear Mrs. Mason downstairs praising Darren's good looks.

He smiled proudly. Darren was indeed handsome. He was always grateful that Darren looked like his mother, which made him happy every day when he looked at his younger brother.

His smile was so cheerful that the house-elf in front of him misunderstood it.

It bowed deeply to Harry, then cried out in a shrill voice, "Harry Potter! Dobby has been wanting to see you... My name is Dobby!"

It has an extremely loud voice.

Harry suspected that people downstairs could hear it.

Harry's face turned green at the thought of Uncle Vernon's warning to him before he came up: if he dared to cause trouble, he would be sent down to greet guests...

During this time, thanks to Darren's intervention, Uncle Vernon was no longer afraid of magic.

But as always, he thought Harry was unreliable.

He originally intended for Harry to stay down there as a stake, but Harry refused. Only after Darren persuaded him did he agree to let Harry come up.

If Dobby were to cause trouble like this, he feared he might be dragged down.

"Keep your voice down!"

“Oh, okay, Dobby just really wanted to see Harry Potter…”

Dobby wiped his tears with the rags on his body.

Harry's lips twitched.

Since Patsy came along, he has never been sloppy again.

So when he saw a house-elf who looked like Patchouli doing this, he was a little incredulous.

"You, did you come to see me because you need something?"

“Yes… Dobby has something to do… but Dobby doesn’t know where to begin… Harry Potter…”

It hesitated, which annoyed Harry a little, but he still said, "Sit down and talk."

He regretted it as soon as he said it.

Hopefully Darren won't see this.

He vowed that he would throw away Darren's blankets and sheets after the house-elf left.

"How polite... Harry Potter!"

Dobby burst into tears.

Harry found it utterly baffling.

“No one has ever… ever made Dobby sit down…”

Dobby cried very loudly.

Harry opened his mouth, thinking that if Patsy spoke in that tone, he might die.

Although he found Patches a bit stern, Harry at that moment missed Patches' normalcy immensely.

However, this wasn't the lowest point Dobby could reach. There was something even more baffling to Harry.

Because right after Dobby finished speaking, he suddenly started banging his head against the window repeatedly.

"Bad Dobby...bad Dobby...speaking ill of the master!"

Harry's face turned even greener.

He considered calling Patchouli to take the house-elf away. But thinking of Patchouli's serious face, he changed his mind. Perhaps, something truly important was at hand!

Chapter 134 Sir, it's for your own good!

"Enough, enough!"

Harry angrily stopped Dobby from punishing himself. He felt a bit of a headache.

Once he finds out what happened, he'll definitely kick that house-elf named Dobby out!

"Does your master know you're here?"

“I don’t know… before Dobby came… Dobby often punished himself like this…”
