Elijah, Elijah, answer me!
Answer me
...
After calling out three times without receiving any response, Amanda angrily cursed and muttered something.
"Restore the communication system. I need to know what happened."
The computer experts at Tianyan Society dared not be careless. They quickly typed on their keyboards, trying to find out the cause of the incident. Soon, a message of despair appeared on the screen.
"Cybersecurity chief Blank said, his face pale."
"Boss, the area near Hailinde town where we can't get a signal is blocked along with the satellite; we can't get in."
"How can this be?"
Blank sighed and said incredulously, "I don't know who hacked into the satellite's main control system and carefully changed the internal code. Now we have no control over it."
Amanda's mouth gaped open even wider; she was completely stunned.
Blank continued, "This man is a master, an unimaginable master!"
Amanda quickly regained her senses and ordered, "Activate the backup satellite."
Blank gave a wry smile: "The backup satellite is out of control too."
The room fell silent as soon as he finished speaking.
11 The crowd looked at each other, and they all saw fear in each other's eyes: the cybersecurity department of the Sky Eye Society had gathered computer geniuses from major American institutions and was a world-class hacker organization, but now it had been raided through the back door without a word.
What kind of person is he? He's terrifying.
With the satellite out of control and Highlind's signal blocked, they could only rely on the first squad.
But Amanda had no confidence whatsoever that if this person could hack into the satellite and disrupt her operations, how could he possibly be unable to deal with the First Squad?
"This can't go on. We need to see what happens next."
Amanda changed into her uniform and took a helicopter to the scene.
At the same time, short, sharp gunshots rang out from Herind Town. After a few loud gunshots, all the gunfire subsided. After a while, the terrified residents cautiously came out of their rooms and gathered near the inn.
The hotel was in ruins, and seven corpses lay scattered on the ground around it. Judging from their clothes and weapons, they belonged to the same organization.
Someone took out their phone to call the police, but the call couldn't be connected. The people gathered together then realized that the signal for the entire city had been blocked.
When Amanda arrived, the police had already cordoned off the area around the hotel. Upon seeing the seven bodies covered with white sheets, Amanda clenched her fists, her eyes filled with murderous intent that was almost tangible.
"No matter who you are, I will find you."
...
Fifty miles north of the town of Hellinde lies a vast, uninhabited desert.
By this time, it was already dark. On the edge of the Gobi Desert, a dark-colored Hummer emerged from the bushes and came to a stop.
The car door opened, and Dio, dressed in black, stepped out, followed by a bewildered Jason Rao. Along the way, he kept glancing suspiciously at the exceptionally handsome, unsociable young man beside him, greatly shocked by the inhuman hands and the endless fighting techniques.
Who exactly is this guy, and what is his purpose in saving me?
Is it to gain access to President Joel Nash? Or is it a secret force secretly prepared by the devil Gast?
Jason Law's mind was a mess. He thought for a long time but still couldn't find a clue, so he could only stammer out...
"Friend, if you don't mind me asking a few more questions, who are you, and why did you save me?"
I won't save you.
Dio lit a cigarette, took a long drag, then threw the butt into the rock, pulled out his gun, and aimed it at Jason Law's head.
Bang
A gunshot rang out, and a bloody hole appeared in the center of Jason Lowe's car door. He was so frightened that he slowly collapsed to the ground.
"The young teacher said you couldn't die at someone else's hands, so I saved you."
Dior then walked to the body, took out a bottle of black liquid, and dripped a drop onto Jason Law's forehead.
The viscous liquid hit his face and immediately seeped into his skin. The next second, his head began to shrink and collapse. The black liquid turned into a worm that devoured flesh and blood. In just over ten seconds, it completely consumed a man weighing over 160 pounds, leaving not even a hair loose.
This horrifying scene sent chills down everyone's spine, and even the cheerful Dior frowned.
After consuming Jansen, the black liquid grew to the size of a fist and aimed at Dio, who was standing to the side.
"Young Master is right, alien poison cannot be used multiple times."
Dio grinned, pulled out a flamethrower, and with a small flame, the black liquid began to burn wildly, the flames rising high and lasting for five minutes before slowly subsiding.
The liquid on the ground disappeared, leaving only scattered black ash. When the wind blew, this ash was carried by the airflow into the vast sea of sand.
Afterwards, Dior dialed Xu Fu's number.
"Jansen Law is dead, right next to me."
"..."
"Yes, it's progressing smoothly."
"..."
"I understand. I'll leave now and return to the Metropolis in seven days."
After making the call, Dior began the cleanup: he opened Jason Law's briefcase, burned the notes and documents inside, and kept only his ID card.
Then, he opened the briefcase, took off the human skin hood, put it on his face, and after some disguise, a completely new Jason Law appeared, almost identical except for the eyes.
A day later, Dio, disguised as Jason Rao, appeared at London Airport. Coincidentally, his face was captured by the airport's cameras. After learning of the CIA's information, Dio immediately contacted the British intelligence agencies and deployed a city-wide search, but there was no news of any results within 24 hours.
Jason Law seems to have vanished from the face of the earth, appearing only once and never again.
A day later, intelligence arrived from Paris reporting a suspicious individual at the airport, presumably Jason Law. The CIA quickly shifted its focus to Paris, but by the end of the day, they still hadn't found him.
Just as the audience was confused, Jansen-Law reappeared, this time in Berlin.
West Asia rushed to Berlin and found the hotel he had rented based on the intelligence officer's hints, only to discover that Jason Law had left the hotel an hour earlier and disappeared into the vast sea.
Unexpected events occurred one after another, and CIA Director Amanda and Sam Lane realized how strange it all was; the other party seemed to be able to anticipate their moves and escape danger before the crisis even occurred.
Why did this happen? Did someone leak the information?
Amanda and Sam Lane exchanged glances, their eyes filled with suspicion.
Suspicion is just suspicion; there is no evidence to prove the existence of an insider.
All they had to do was suppress their doubts and continue waiting for the news they had been waiting for for decades, until Sam Lane lay in his coffin, but there was still no sign of Jason Law.
There are many legends about him.
Some say Jason Law is possessed by a demon like Joel Nash, while others say he is a wizard. Of course, a more accurate description is that Jason Law possesses a secret army as large as the Sky Eye Society.
In short, no one in the world ever saw Jason Law again; he disappeared into the ashes of the Gobi Desert.
In the coastal city, at the Xiao family manor, watching An Beibei happily lying at his feet, Xu Fu whispered in a voice only he could hear, "An Beibei, do you know?"
"I've cleared the last hurdle for you, Adam. Don't let me down!"
Chapter 1126 The Age of Adam!
Jason Law's disappearance nearly ended Sam Lane's plan to get information out of Jason Law, obtain evidence of the president's crimes, and remove President Joel Nash from office through Congress and the Supreme Court.
Suddenly, in the final stage, the plan took an astonishing turn.
Who is this mysterious figure lurking behind the scenes who was able to save Rao Junsen in front of the Sky Eye Society and the military? Who possesses such terrifying power?
When the news reached the Pentagon, the atmosphere in the conference room became extremely tense. Everyone was panicked, and some even blamed Sam Lane for the incident, criticizing him for contradicting himself and saying that he was on their side and was actually the president's lackey.
Faced with such slander, Sam Lane did not defend himself but remained silent.
"Island-Gentle sighed," he said.
"Given the current situation, it is almost impossible to catch Sam Lane in a short period of time. It can be said that the trail has gone cold. Does anyone have any other ideas? If not, then today's meeting is adjourned."
Someone said angrily, "What else can we do? The first person to be heartbroken is gone, and he's still right under our noses. Who knows what happened over there? I now strongly suspect that there are moles in the Department of Defense and the CIA."
Sam Ryan frowned, but ultimately remained silent.
Some things cannot be clearly explained; forcing an explanation will only lead to unfounded suspicions.
Royman Gunther replied, “I’m sending people to investigate the root of this matter. If there’s a mole, I’ll find him. But the most pressing issue right now is how to deal with Joel Nash. Jason Law is a key figure. After his disappearance, it’s unlikely that we can convince the Supreme Court and Congress to remove Joel Nash from the presidency, which means we will have to accept him continuing as president.”
After he finished speaking, everyone looked as if they had swallowed a fly, and they all made ugly faces.
"I will never accept his presidency."
Someone roared angrily, and the general beside him suggested, "Could we do something about his physical condition?"
Royman Gent gestured to his assistant, who then added.
"The latest news from the White House this morning is that Joel Nash is able to communicate normally, some of his subconscious memories are awakening, and his learning, memory, and thinking abilities are recovering rapidly. At the current rate, doctors have determined that he will be able to return to a normal life in at most half a month. Although he has lost a lot of memories, his intelligence and logical thinking have not been greatly affected."
"In other words, he is fully capable of serving as president."
The last sentence was like a depth charge, detonating the crowd.
"How could it be so fast? Is he faking his madness?!"
