HP: I beat the otome game at Hogwarts

Chapter 102 The Eye-Catching Auditorium Conversation

Chapter 102 The Eye-Catching Auditorium Conversation

In the latest Quidditch match, Ravenclaw defeated Hufflepuff, but Lyra was unable to watch the game.

It wasn't that she didn't want to go; she had promised Cedric she would go to the game.

The night before the competition, she and Hermione took their pet to the school hospital for a checkup. On the way, they stumbled upon a brawl between Slytherin and Hufflepuff upperclassmen. Lyra was unlucky enough to be hit by a spell, her body covered in green spots, and she ended up spending the day at the school hospital.

When George and Fred heard about it, they went to the group they had fought with the night before the next day with their wands and dung balls to get revenge—and then the two of them managed to get themselves, two Slytherins, and a Hufflepuff into the school hospital.

However, none of them were seriously injured, or rather—Madame Pomfrey's medical skills were too superb; whether it was a goatee growing on a head, boils all over the body, or broken arms and legs, Madame Pomfrey could cure them all quickly.

By the time Leila, George, and Fred were discharged from the hospital, the game was already over.

“Sorry, Cedric, I missed your match.” Lyra walked over to the long table in Hufflepuff and apologized to Cedric.

During lunchtime in the Great Hall, every word and action of any popular figure is under the watchful eye of the entire Hogwarts community.

Lyra White went to the Hufflepuff table to chat with Cedric Diggory in front of everyone. It seemed like no one was bothering her, but in reality, many sharp eyes had already been piercing the Hufflepuff table like arrows.

At the Slytherin table, the platinum-haired young master, cutting his steak, made a screeching sound as he scraped it across the golden plate.

Pansy looked at Draco in surprise. Blaise Zabini, unusually, did not cover up for his roommate's rude behavior, but instead lowered his head and cut a piece of blueberry pudding that did not need to be cut into pieces.

At the Ravenclaw table, the handsome blue-eyed guy who was discussing the next lesson on ancient runes with his friends suddenly stopped.

"Dexter?" The Ravenclaw boy looked at his friend, who had suddenly stopped talking and looked dejected.

At the other end of the Ravenclaw table, a pretty Asian girl with a pure and lovely appearance stared blankly at the handsome Hufflepuff boy smiling and talking to the beautiful girl wearing a gold and red tie.

When Cedric Diggory looked at the pretty dark-haired girl with an unusual focus in his eyes, the Asian girl wearing a blue scarf was eating with her head down, looking dejected, but the food on her plate hadn't decreased even after a long time.

“That day—” Lyra tried to explain, but Cedric interrupted her.

“It’s okay, I heard about it. You got caught up in the fight,” Cedric said with an embarrassed smile. “I was planning to visit you at the school hospital this afternoon, but I didn’t expect you to have already been discharged.”

"Oh, it was my insistence on being discharged. I always felt the food at the school hospital wasn't as good as the food in the auditorium." Leila winked playfully. "But I'm still very sorry I couldn't come to watch your game."

“Actually, you didn’t miss anything, because we lost this time,” Cedric stated frankly and directly, then asked somewhat cautiously, “But we’ll definitely win next time. Would you still like to come watch the match?”

“Of course,” Leila nodded seriously, “I won’t miss the next competition. I definitely won’t walk down that wretched corridor in the school hospital the day before the competition.”

Cedric was amused by Lyra, completely oblivious to the unfriendly stares coming from all directions in the Great Hall. It was as if his keen Quidditch skills had temporarily failed him when he was with the dark-haired girl.

Lyra stood at the door of Professor Lupin's office, reviewing her plan one last time: first, express her admiration for the professor, then highlight Professor Lupin's professionalism by comparing him to previous Defense Against the Dark Arts professors in terms of how they criticized them.

Let me elaborate on why Gryffindor lost the last match against Hufflepuff – that damned Dementor that suddenly appeared caused Gryffindor to lose a victory they were almost in, a sentiment that resonated with Professor Lupin, who was also a Gryffindor graduate.

Then, on the first day of school, Professor Lupin bravely drove away the Dementors on the train, protecting all the students.

Finally, I sincerely and earnestly request that Professor Lupin teach me the Patronus Charm to protect my two good friends who are Quidditch players.

Perfect—Lyra nodded to herself. This was how she could finally show off in front of Fred and George: she had learned the Patronus Charm from Professor Lupin in Defense Against the Dark Arts.

She still hadn't managed to cast a complete Patronus Charm, and couldn't resist the twins' deliberate provocation, so she made a bet with them—if they couldn't learn the Patronus Charm within a month, she would have to cover for the twins in front of Mrs. Weasley during the summer vacation—these two guys had already come up with a bunch of illegal and disorderly ideas, and all they needed was a shield to deal with Mrs. Weasley.

"Come in—" Leila knocked and received permission, then gathered her thoughts and pushed open the door.

“Professor Lupin, good afternoon—” Lyra was surprised to see a black-haired, green-eyed boy standing next to Professor Lupin. “Harry?”

Harry instinctively wanted to hide behind Professor Lupin; this was the first time he had faced Lyra directly since the match ended.
