Chapter 159 Krum's Autograph

Chapter 159 Krum's Autograph

Lyra returned to the Gryffindor Tower with a stack of Krum's autographs, completely satisfied.

Fred and George have been very busy lately. They've tried everything to contact Mr. Bagman to get their Galleons back, but unfortunately, all their efforts have failed.

Fred was furious and wanted to write to Bagman, threatening him not only to return the money but also to provide compensation, or he would have him exposed by a reporter from the Daily Prophet.

George intervened, believing that such extortion was inappropriate.

After Fred was dissuaded, the twins had to face the fact that they would never get their savings back.

Forget about opening a store in the future, they are even short of money for the materials to make new products right now. Of course, Leila still has money, but they don't want to rely on her alone.

So the two of them racked their brains and tried every possible way to make money.

"Thirty fake wands have been sold..." George was tallying the numbers.

"...No, we're still far from it. Our inventory is almost sold out. If we don't take Lyra's royalties, we can't make new products."

“If this continues, we’ll only end up doing homework for younger students,” Fred frowned.

“It’s almost the weekend at Hogsmeade, we can buy snacks for the younger students.” George continued taking notes, remembering his old idea.

“Hey guys—” Lyra waved Krum’s autograph and headed straight for the twins who were deep in thought in the corner of the common room.

“Look! What a friend I am—” Lyra proudly displayed the stack of autographs in her hand, “I got some for Angelina and Aria too, and you can have the rest of the autographs you have—”

Fred and George were unhappy that their good friend was so excited about getting Krum's autograph.

“Hmph, we don’t like Krum—” Fred scoffed.

“That’s right, as British people, we support the Irish team,” George added. “As members of Hogwarts, we don’t support Durmstrang’s Warriors.”

"Oh, are you two sure?" Lyra deliberately dragged out her words. "This is the autograph of internationally renowned basketball star Krum, and now that he's a Warrior in the Triwizard Tournament, the value of this autograph is even higher—"

"Don't even think about it—" Fred was about to retort with a cold snort, but suddenly George, with a sudden flash of inspiration, gave his brother a heavy elbow.

"Ouch—" Fred cried, sounding aggrieved. "What are you doing, bro?"

“A valuable autograph!” George winked frantically at Fred.

“Oh, right, right!” Fred realized what was happening and immediately took the Krum autographs from Lyra with a grin, diligently stuffing them into his pocket.

George blew a passionate kiss to Leila.

Merlin testifies, don't worry Krum, he and Fred will get a good price for these autographs!

Sure enough, less than ten minutes after Fred and George wandered around the auditorium, the girls and younger boys who were crazy about Krum had snatched all of Krum's autographs from their hands.

When Lyra heard that Hermione had been struck by Malfoy's curse, Hermione had already returned from the school hospital and was sitting safely at the Gryffindor long table eating.

Lyra deliberately sat down next to Hermione, looking at her with concern, and immediately noticed her new change—

"Wow—" Lyra looked at Hermione approvingly until the brown-haired girl blushed slightly. "Well done, Hermione! I've always thought you should get some adjustments. You look much prettier now!"

"what?"

Harry looked at the two girls with a puzzled expression, not understanding what kind of riddle they were talking about.

Ron, who had come to check on Hermione out of concern, was equally confused. However, he still didn't reconcile with Harry. He simply whispered a few words to Hermione and then hurriedly left.

Harry shoved the steak on his plate with a clattering sound in frustration.

Lyra and Hermione could both tell that Harry had hoped to use this opportunity to speak with Ron again.

Hermione looked at her two male friends with a troubled expression.

“Boys are all childish,” Lyra comforted Hermione. “Oh, by the way, this is for you—”

Hermione looked at the autographed photo of Krum that Lyra had forced into her hand, feeling utterly bewildered.

"Why are you giving me this?" Hermione asked, puzzled. "You know perfectly well I don't like this Krum—"

“Oh, then you can keep this for me,” Lyra winked mysteriously at Hermione. “Maybe… in the future… Anyway, I’m off now, I need to talk to Fred and George!”

Lyra left like a gust of wind, leaving Hermione and Harry staring at each other in bewilderment.

Lyra wasn't lying; she had indeed made plans with Fred and George beforehand. The two red-haired, freckled creatures were going to take her to the Forbidden Forest that night, saying they had a surprise for her.

The two men's feigned mystery piqued Leila's curiosity.

Since Knight stopped appearing in the Forbidden Forest, she has only sneaked into the Forbidden Forest a handful of times this semester.

During summer vacation, Knight, a black dog, suddenly appeared at Red Peak Lodge. Before the start of the school year, Lyra was worried about the big black dog, so she asked Sirius to help her adopt Knight.

Sirius readily agreed, but Lyra felt that Remus's smile at the time was rather strange.

"Merlin—"

Leila stared in shock at the four fire dragons in the woods not far away.

These are four fierce and strong adult fire dragons.

They were kept by the dragon trainers in an area enclosed by thick wooden planks, standing upright, constantly exhaling, and bursts of flame shot out from their fang-filled mouths, piercing the dark night sky.

These fire dragons held their necks high, their mouths at least fifty feet off the ground. Judging from their constant angry roars and the flames they spewed, they were clearly very unhappy about being trapped by the wizard.

Fred and George watched with amusement as Lyra looked on in shock.

“Isn’t that great?” Fred said. “Charlie told us that he’s one of the dragon trainers and that the first event in this Triwizard Tournament is the fire dragon.”

George was also mesmerized by a silver-blue fire dragon with long, sharp horns, which was energetically wagging its tail at the dragon trainer.

"Its scales are so beautiful, aren't they?"

George talked as he watched, and Lyra and Fred nodded in agreement.

Lyra preferred another dragon with black scales, which seemed to be the wildest of the four fire dragons.

“This is really exciting!” Lyra said. “I didn’t know the Triwizard Tournament was this thrilling! By the way, Harry—”

“Don’t worry,” Fred said. “Charlie already told Ron, and Ron will definitely tell Harry.”

“All the warriors will definitely know about the first project beforehand. I heard Hagrid knows about the dragon too, and he'll surely tell Headmistress Beauxbatons—”

Leila and George chuckled to themselves. A few days earlier, the three of them had bumped into Hagrid and Mrs. Maxim taking a walk together, and Hagrid's infatuated smile couldn't have fooled anyone with eyes.
