Chapter 162 The Legendary Triangle Love
Chapter 162 The Legendary Triangle Love
Surprisingly, Sirius offered strong advice.
However, after discussion among the group helping Harry survive (mainly Hermione, Lyra, and Harry himself; the twins are like wandering balls that often fly around), it was discovered that if Harry attacked the dragon's eye, the dragon might go berserk, leaving Harry even less able to protect himself.
And if you hurt the fire dragon, you'll lose points, since fire dragons are very rare.
“But losing points is better than losing your life, right?” Leila said.
However, Hermione, a perfectionist, a fiercely competitive person, and a person who strives to be number one, believes that since Sirius's idea is already a safety net, she should try her best to get more points in the competition.
Harry was forced to practice eye-targeting spells while racking his brains for better solutions, which was too much for him.
No matter how nervous Harry was, Tuesday still arrived.
Fred and George moved around the stands like hopscotch balls, cleverly setting up betting games. Many people were happy to place bets and make intense guesses about the outcome of the match, which was also a way of supporting their favorite players.
“Don’t worry, buddy,” Fred said to Lyra. “This time we’re the bookmakers.”
“Experts never lose money,” George laughed smugly.
Lyra and Hermione each held small gold and red flags with Harry's name on them. They sat in the high stands that could hold hundreds of people, holding hands and praying for Harry.
“Don’t worry, Harry said he has a better idea—” Hermione reassured Lyra, though her own lips were pale with nervousness, “but he said to keep it a secret for now, and we’ll find out when the time comes.”
The highly anticipated first competition event has begun.
The first to go was Cedric Diggory. He cast a very powerful Transfiguration spell, turning a stone into a dog. The dragon chased after the dog without hesitation, but unfortunately, it changed its mind halfway through; it still wanted to catch the boy first—Cedric was burned, but he succeeded!
The audience erupted in cheers and applause.
The second to enter was Fleur Delacour. She immediately waved her wand, and the dragon instantly became drowsy!
“This must be a hypnotic spell!” Hermione exclaimed excitedly. “I’ve never seen one before; it must be some kind of French spell—”
But just as Furong had obtained the golden egg and was still standing, the dragon suddenly started snoring, and a flame spewed from its nostrils, setting Furong's dress ablaze. Furong quickly conjured water with her wand and extinguished the flames.
The audience erupted in deafening cheers and applause for her.
The third to enter the arena was Viktor Krum. His movements were incredibly clean and efficient; he immediately attacked the dragon's eye upon entering the arena!
“Good heavens, his method is the same as Sirius’s suggestion!” Lyra shouted at Hermione, as everyone was shouting and the environment was noisy.
“Oh, this isn’t good. Harry’s at the very back,” Hermione said, wringing her fingers tightly as she analyzed the situation rationally. “If Krum uses this trick first, and Harry uses it too, it will definitely affect his score—”
But the audience suddenly gasped in shock. The dragon was struggling so fiercely that it crushed half of the golden egg, and even Krum was almost injured!
“Oh no, he shouldn’t have destroyed those dragon eggs!” Hermione cried. “He’ll definitely lose points for that—”
Lyra and Hermione were both disappointed by the dragon egg, but happy for Harry. If Harry could avoid making mistakes, he might get a higher score than Krum!
However, Krum eventually got the golden egg, and the crowd erupted in applause.
Finally, Harry Potter took the stage; he was also the youngest and smallest warrior.
“Oh no, Harry drew the fiercest dragon—” Hermione’s nails gripped Lyra’s arm tightly.
“It’s that Hungarian hornet—” Lyra exclaimed, then quickly reassured herself and Hermione, “It’s alright, Harry is very skilled with attack spells, he just needs to find an opportunity to attack the dragon’s eyes—”
From the high stands, Harry stood alone on the field, looking even thinner and smaller, and everyone could see his excessively pale face.
The Hungarian wood wasp glared menacingly at Harry with its enormous yellow eyes, while violently twisting its tail, leaving cratered marks on the ground with its stinger.
But amidst the uproar of the crowd, Harry calmly raised his wand.
"Fire bolts are coming—" he shouted firmly.
Soon, a few seconds later, everyone saw a fire bolt whizz through the air, flying rapidly toward Harry.
Harry grabbed the fire bolt!
He nimbly flew into the sky, as if flying was an innate ability.
Then Harry displayed unparalleled flying skills, circling around the dragon and dodging its fire breaths time and time again. He finally managed to distract the dragon and successfully retrieve the golden egg!
"Look! Our youngest warrior got the golden egg the fastest!"
Lyra heard Bagman, the host, cheer loudly, and Hermione was so excited that tears streamed down her face. Everyone applauded and cheered enthusiastically for Harry.

Even after the first event of the three-way battle concluded, everyone's emotions were still running high.
Harry became popular at school.
“Dude, that broomstick move you made was really awesome, even Krum didn’t think of it, did he?” Ron said proudly.
After experiencing the terrifying dragon, Ron and Harry finally reconciled, and Hermione cried her heart out. The three inseparable friends were back together.
Harry has been in a great mood lately—he successfully completed his first project; he made up with Ron; and everyone stopped giving him the cold shoulder.
Moreover, because he participated in the Triwizard Tournament, he doesn't even have to take the final exams this semester!
How wonderful!
Harry can now fully relax and enjoy the benefits of being a hero. As for what the second project is, and what to do about it?
We'll talk about it later.
Unfortunately, a report in the Daily Prophet ruined Harry's good mood.
Before and after the match, a female reporter named Rita Skeeter specifically sought out Harry for an interview. This reporter had long, curly blonde hair, wore jeweled glasses, and possessed a quill pen that automatically wrote random things.
In addition to reporting the results of the match, Rita Skeeter also added fuel to the fire regarding Harry's personal life in the newspaper.
In her writing, Harry is a sensitive boy who still cries for his parents at night.
But he found warmth at Hogwarts: a Muggle witch named Hermione Granger was inseparable from Harry, and the school beauty, Lyra White, also showed him great care—
Two beautiful witches are vying for Harry Potter's affections.
