Lin Ci, meanwhile, grabbed Xiao Yu by the back of her collar, carried the talisman box, and got into the car to return to Valon's base.
Valon's office.
A suppressed excitement filled the air.
"Eight, nine, ten, eleven."
Valon's voice carried a hint of excitement.
One by one, he embedded those ancient talismans into the grooves reserved on the statue of the Holy Lord.
The statue of the Holy Lord's crimson eyes shone ever brighter.
"Great, I can feel my strength returning."
An ancient, hoarse voice echoed in the room, carrying a longing to break free from its constraints.
Valon picked up the Tiger Talisman, which had been broken in two, and stuck one half of it on.
There are eleven and a half in total.
He reached out his hand and turned to Lin Ci.
Lin Ci shrugged, looking completely innocent.
"Boss, I think the last half must be with Shan Chenglong."
Valon's patience had clearly run out.
"Then hurry up and find him!"
The Holy Lord's deep voice suddenly rang out, carrying a hint of all-knowing indifference.
"No need, they've come to us of their own accord."
Good Jackie Chan and Evil Jackie Chan rushed into the Wallon Building together.
They have now reconciled and decided to work together to rescue Xiaoyu.
Tru, Afen, Zhou, and Lasu immediately stepped forward to fight.
Rasu stared at the two identical Jackie Chans and his mind went completely blank.
"Which of you two is on our side?"
The two Jackie Chans didn't even bother to answer. Their movements were clean and efficient, their punches and kicks swift and powerful, and they quickly took down the four burly men.
Then, they took the elevator and continued upwards.
The Holy Lord seemed to be able to see through layers of walls through his scarlet eyes.
"Both Jackie Chans came, but the other half of the talisman wasn't on them."
Lin Ci raised an eyebrow, his gaze inadvertently drifting towards Xiao Yu, who was tied to the chair.
"That's really strange, where could it be going?"
Xiaoyu's body stiffened for a moment, and she forced a smile that looked worse than crying.
The elevator doors opened, and two Jackie Chans rushed in, one after the other.
"Uncle Long, save me!"
Xiaoyu let out a piercing scream.
Two Uncle Jackies have arrived.
However, it's too late.
A small sneaker appeared in Lin Ci's hand without her noticing.
He pulled out the last half of the tiger tally from the lining of the shoe sole.
He didn't even glance at the two Jackie Chans who were glaring at him, and simply tossed the talisman at Valmont.
A fanatical light flashed in Valon's eyes as he caught the talisman and slammed it into the last empty space on the statue of the Holy Lord.
Amidst Jackie Chan's roar, the two figures were suddenly pulled together by an invisible force.
They instantly merged into one, transforming back into the complete Jackie Chan.
A twisted, maniacal smile spread across Valon's face.
"The game is over, Jackie Chan! I'm not dead!"
The moment the words left his mouth, the stone dragon statue that had been coiled for thousands of years exploded with a deafening roar!
A dazzling light burst forth from the crack, so bright that it was impossible to open one's eyes.
As the stones crumbled away, what was revealed was no longer cold rock, but dark red flesh and scales imbued with the warmth of life.
The twelve talismans transformed into twelve streams of light, deeply imprinting themselves into his body before the light faded.
The enormous dragon head extends forward, its neck long and menacing.
From beneath its body grew thick, powerful legs and sharp claws.
A massive, terrifying demonic body, exuding an ancient aura, finally appeared in its entirety before everyone.
He raised his head, opened his blood-red maw, and let out a roar that could shake the soul.
"I'm—back—alive!"
Chapter 7 The Devil's Credit
The Holy Lord felt the familiar yet unfamiliar surging power within his body.
"My strength has finally been restored!"
His deep growl echoed through the broken office.
Jade, hiding behind Jackie Chan, peeked out half her head and muttered softly.
"So Valon was looking for the talisman because of this monster."
The Holy Lord's crimson gaze turned to Jackie Chan, his massive dragon head tilting slightly as if admiring an interesting toy.
Do you know what I like best?
Before Jackie Chan could answer, a ball of pulsating crimson flames materialized out of thin air between Shendu's two claws.
The air was distorted by the heat, sizzling and crackling.
A stream of scorching fire shot out instantly.
It didn't hit Jackie Chan, but instead precisely blasted open another wall in the office.
The enormous impact sent Jackie Chan and Jade flying.
The two people turned into two tiny black dots in the air and fell towards the building below.
Fortunately, a window-cleaning cable car that was working on the building's exterior caught them.
While Jade was still in shock, Jackie Chan immediately reacted.
"Call Sheriff Black right now!"
Tru, Lasu, Zhou, and Afen, a group of four, also came up.
They stared in disbelief at the living demon and the gaping hole blasted out of it.
Valon glanced at the ruined office wall with a pained expression.
"This office can no longer be used."
But the pain on his face was quickly replaced by a greedy frenzy.
He turned to the Lord.
"However, I believe that the Golden Rooster King's lost treasure will surely compensate us for all our losses."
Lin Ci shook his head inwardly.
As everyone knows, the noble dragon, the great demon wizard, never keeps his word.
The Holy Lord glanced down at him, his voice full of mockery.
"I'm sorry, Valon."
"You didn't bring me all the talismans."
The Holy Lord's gaze passed over him and landed in the distance.
"It's from Jackie Chan, he brought it to me personally!"
“Listen, you will not get any treasure.”
Valon's smile froze instantly.
The anger of being deceived consumed his reason.
He stared fiercely at the Holy Lord's massive body and let out a hysterical roar.
"Lin Ci! Teach this untrustworthy monster a lesson!"
Lin Ci was leaning against the wall, admiring the Holy Lord's complete form with great interest, when he heard this, he raised an eyebrow.
"I'm going up against the Holy Lord? Really?"
Go and fight a demon who possesses twelve talismans and is nearly invincible in this world?
Lin Ci wouldn't go looking for death.
His gaze swept over the several burly men trembling beside him.
"True, you go ahead."
"I believe in your strength."
Ah Fen immediately stepped aside and gave Tru a thumbs up.
"Go for it, Tru!"
Zhou also took a step back and adjusted his glasses.
"We all support you."
