Chapter 164 Successive Victories, the Heroic Figure of the Straw Hat Crew!

Picking up where we left off, we've finally arrived at the third round. This time, the competition is a roller skating race. After some discussion, the Straw Hat crew has decided on the order of appearance: Nami first, Usopp second, Goten third, Robin fourth, and Luffy last.

Foxy's order is: first, Porgei; second, Quadricornus; third, Gilgida; fourth, the fishman Kirarin; and finally, Setsuna, whom they don't expect to be with.

The host then announced the competition rules: "First, the players start at the same time. Twenty seconds later, the defenders start and can use any means to obstruct them. After a total of five minutes, the final distance of the players will be the standard for determining the winner. Even if you are one step ahead, you win."

First up is Nami, the navigator of the Straw Hat Pirates, versus Porchi, the vice-president and admiral of the Foxy Pirates. It's the first round of the roller skating speed race. Both teams are in position, and once Nami, Porchi, and their defenders are ready, the new referee makes his official appearance. He's an old man with fifty years of refereeing experience, and the Straw Hat crew doesn't say anything in response.

As the referee fired the starting gun, Nami and Porgi rushed out immediately. The two were evenly matched in speed, but Porgi also knew how to use hidden weapons. She took out a rose and shot out a lot of darts, forcing Nami to lie down and dodge, thus allowing Porgi to create distance between them.

As soon as the twenty seconds were up, Goten and Usopp were about to sprint, but they were blocked by the opponent's defender, the big guy Quattro. Goten was not going to let him get away with it. He grabbed Quattro's legs with both hands and lifted him up with brute force, which shocked the Foxy Pirates.

After lifting the massive object, Goten threw it backward, landing squarely on Porchi, who had just arrived. This allowed Nami to easily overtake him. Seeing the situation was dire, Killer Lin, one of the other two members of the Foxy Pirates, immediately chased after Nami. Killer Lin revealed the twin swords on his arms, intending to forcibly kill Nami, which frightened Nami into calling for help from Goten.

Upon seeing this, Goten immediately rushed out and caught up with the fishman in no time. He grabbed the fishman from behind and knocked him to the ground with a headfirst fall. Then, the opposing defender, Gilgida, decisively used his proud speed to try to stop Nami. However, as soon as he reached Goten's side, Goten grabbed his tail and brought him to a stop, instantly preventing Gilgida from advancing any further.

So when Porgi crawled out from under the four corners, five minutes had passed, and the Straw Hat crew easily won the first match...

The second match was between Straw Hat Pirates sniper Usopp and Foxy Pirates' four-cornered hijacker. However, when the match started, Usopp ran half a lap as fast as a bowstring being released, while the four-cornered hijacker moved forward slowly. When Usopp had almost run a lap, twenty seconds had passed, and Porchi immediately sprayed out a sleeping gas. Instantly, everyone in the arena except for the Foxy Pirates and Goten who noticed it was knocked unconscious.

However, Goten was only putting up a brave front. Just as he was about to leave, the fishman Killerin knocked him down with a single punch. As Goten tried to get up, Killerin decisively kicked him away, sending him flying several meters. Seeing Goten struggling, Killerin couldn't help but mock him, "You're really stupid. You wouldn't have to suffer if you had just slept with them."

Upon hearing this, Goten remained silent and simply ran towards Usopp again. Seeing this, the fishman Killerin immediately rushed in front of Goten, pinned him down, and began relentlessly punching him. Yukina, who was still practicing, choked up upon seeing this scene, feeling as if her heart was being torn apart.

The fishman Killerin was exhausted from fighting himself. Just when Killerin thought Goten couldn't stand up anymore, Goten stood up shakily in the next second. Seeing this, Killerin decisively swung his right blade at Goten's legs, but Goten stomped on the blade and broke it.

Upon seeing this, the fishman Killarin was so frightened that he fell to the ground, thinking he was about to be beaten up again. Unexpectedly, Goten bypassed Killarin, went to Usopp's side, carried him on his back, and continued the match without saying a word...

When the five minutes were up, the rest of the Straw Hat crew woke up to a victory in the second match. However, Usopp was shocked and asked Goten, "Goten, what happened to your injury?!"

Goten smiled wryly and said nonchalantly, "It's nothing, I just tripped and fell. I can still continue the game, so don't worry."

Seeing this, Luffy actually managed to stand up and solemnly declared, "Goten! I'm standing up, and now I'm going to show you what I'm capable of!"

Having already lost two matches in a row, Foxy was clearly getting restless, so he got up to prepare to use the Slowing Beam. Seeing this, Usopp and Nami decisively retreated to the outer area, ready to act according to the situation. Goten wiped his face with his clothes and then came to the starting point to prepare to set off.

As the referee fired the starting gun, the third round of the Straw Hat Pirates' Goten vs. Foxy Pirates' Gildida the Quick Hand instantly began. Both of them used their full speed and ran more than a dozen laps in an instant, making Foxy, who was preparing to use the Slowing Beam, hesitant to make a move.

As soon as the 20 seconds were up, Luffy rushed out, wanting to help, but suddenly realized that he couldn't turn corners. So the next second, he rushed out of the arena and was eliminated on the spot.

At first, Goten was able to hold his own against his opponent, but due to the smoke from earlier, he became disoriented again. He almost followed Luffy's path and crashed into the wall. His body reacted quickly just in time to avoid breaking through the wall and falling out.

Sanji and Zoro, noticing something was wrong with Goten, were puzzled as to what was happening. Zoro followed Goten's gaze and locked onto the target Goten was looking at, and immediately ran towards the outside of the arena.

Seeing this, Goten immediately started running again. The Foxy Pirates were even more confused. With only ten seconds left, they couldn't care less about the Straw Hat crew. Just as they were preparing to welcome their final victory, the long cucumber tree outside the arena suddenly fell into the arena...

When the countdown ended, the Foxy Pirates realized that their player, Gilgit, had been eliminated because he couldn't control his desires and rushed up the long cucumber tree...

Luffy and Robin immediately replied, "We're fine with it."
