Chapter 47 The Elf Doesn't Want to Break Their Two-Person World
Chapter 47 The Elf Doesn't Want to Break Their Two-Person World
Wendy tilted her head: "Saving the world? Moon lord? What's a mortgage?"
"You don't know either, it's just..." Terra was about to explain when she remembered that the other person was a newbie and she couldn't spoil the experience. "You haven't played to that point yet, so I can't tell you in advance."
Wendy tilted her head, confused.
Terra, a smile spreading across her face, said to Wendy, "That's the expression! That's the kind of silly, clueless expression you want!"
How good!
Wendy wondered if this was an insult directed at her.
Terra opened her backpack and threw out some of the things she had acquired, giving them to Wendy, the newbie.
Among the pile of things were objects that looked like iron ingots, as well as many blocks that resembled stones, wood, and soil, and several stews and fruits about half the size of a person.
These things are all flat, like thick cardboard, and they're in a mosaic style.
Wendy looked at the pile of things on the ground, not knowing what to do.
Stella tried touching one of the fruits and found that it had turned into a normal-looking one, even a very appealing one. Stella had never seen an apple look so much like an apple before.
When Terra saw that Wendy not only didn't move, but also stepped back behind Stella, she told her that as long as you get close to an object, it will automatically be absorbed into your body.
Wendy approached suspiciously, but the items hadn't been sucked into her body; they were still on the ground.
Terra's head bobbed with thought: "Looks like your backpack is full. That's normal."
He looked at the staff in Wendy's hand: "That's the Slime Staff, isn't it? No wonder you're a newbie, you still have a newbie protection period. You're so lucky, I killed so many slimes and none of them dropped it."
Wendy was puzzled as to how Mr. Terra could tell that she knew any summoning magic.
At this moment, Andrea 2 walked in.
She simply couldn't stand that gloomy necromancer anymore.
Upon entering the lobby and looking around, she found it empty except for Terra, the waiter, and a young girl.
She looked at the other person and felt that he looked somewhat familiar.
When Terra saw Andrea come in, she bent over and lifted Andrea onto her head, walked to Wendy, put her down, and said to Wendy, "This is our guide. I usually call her Mom, but you can call her Mom too."
Andrea, hands on hips and covering her face, said, "I told you not to call me Mom."
Wendy overheard this the other day; Mr. Terra and this Andrea 2 seemed to have some kind of intimate relationship, but Wendy wondered if she should call out to them too.
Looking at Terra's square eyes, she still whispered "Mom" to Andrea 2.
Stella hugged Wendy: "Don't just do whatever Terra tells you to do."
Wendy's face turned bright red.
Terra leaned closer to Wendy's face and said, "Your body is so funny, it can even make these kinds of expressions! It's amazing."
Wendy's face turned even redder.
When Andrea 2 heard the word "Mom," her body trembled, and the tips of her ears turned slightly red. She was somewhat immune to being called "Mom" by Terra, but being called "Mom" by a girl made her feel incredibly ashamed.
I just feel like complaining, what's going on here?! I'm going crazy trying to hold it in.
But outwardly she couldn't say it, maintaining her aloof demeanor with her hands on her hips: "Just call me Andrea 2."
Andrea 2 thought to herself, "But this girl is quite cute, if you don't look at her body, which is half of it turned into a cube."
She looked Wendy up carefully, and finally remembered: "You're the one whose wallet was stolen before? What happened to you?"
Wendy didn't reply.
Terra smiled and said, "Wendy, if you're a newbie, just ask the guide whenever you have time. Of course, you can ask me too. The guide knows everything about the process."
"If you don't understand any of the mechanisms, just ask me. With the guidance of experts like Watermelon Bubble and Island Master, I do know a thing or two."
Wendy really couldn't understand what Terra was saying. Was the fairy lady the guide?
She looked at Andrea 2, who simply rubbed her index finger against her temple.
It means there's a problem with Terra here.
Wendy gave an awkward laugh.
Terra: "Wendy, where are you going now? Let's go together!"
Andrea reminded her, "Weren't you going to build a crystal tower?"
"No rush! I want to chat with Wendy a little longer!"
Wendy whispered, "Those monsters outside..."
"It's all resolved."
"I plan to go back to my place."
An exclamation mark appeared above Terra's head: "Wendy, is this your residence? I'm kind of looking forward to seeing what a newbie's house looks like! I remember when I first built a house in the old version, I didn't even know how to lay down the background wall, and once I did, I didn't know how to remove it."
"This isn't a spoiler, right? You should have figured this out by now."
Stella was somewhat annoyed with Wendy: "You should know better than to be wary of strangers. Let me take you back to your hotel."
"But Terra and the fairy sister are both good people..." Wendy whispered.
Stella thought to herself, "Who would be so kind as to repeatedly hang up paintings to complete tasks?"
Andrea also thought that Terra was a good person, but the things she had done were a bit hard to describe.
She told Stella, "It's alright. I assure you that Terra means no harm. Even if there are any remaining monsters outside, we are strong enough to protect Miss Wendy."
Stella thought for a moment, then, as if handing a pet dog to a neighbor, pushed Wendy toward Andrea: "Okay."

On the way back to the hotel, Terra walked along, circling around Wendy as she went: "Let's team up later, I'll show you around."
Andrea 2 was somewhat reluctant; she didn't want a third party to interfere in her and Terra's world together.
It's not that Andrea 2 has any feelings for Terra. If you have to say she does, it's just that she sees Terra as a benefactor and a trustworthy teammate.
It must be exhausting for her to always act aloof in front of humans.
Wendy stopped in her tracks when she heard this.
Andrea turned around: "What happened to her?"
Wendy lowered her head, clutching her staff, her toes crossing over each other. "I'm actually not an adventurer yet... I've been taking the test for a while, but I've never passed. If you're going to team up, you should find someone else; I'll just hold you back..."
"Test? Why haven't I played this part of the new content?" Terra's exclamation mark bubble appeared.
Andrea 2 naturally picked up the thread: "Because we didn't take the test at the time, the receptionist let us pass without taking it."
Upon hearing this, Terra immediately ran back to the Adventurers' Guild.
Wendy and Andrea looked at each other in bewilderment.
After some time, Terra returned, a smiley face bubble appearing above his head: "I've cancelled my previous adventurer status. Let's go to the trial grounds for the test tomorrow."
Wendy stared at the smiley face bubble above Terra's head, her vision suddenly blurring. She opened her mouth, but in the end, she said nothing.
