Ultraman: What do you mean by saying L77 is about to explode?

Chapter 76 Cooperation from the Kyrielords

Chapter 76 Cooperation from the Kyrielords

Sky Sanctuary.

This magnificent floating island, which consumed countless resources of the ancient guard regiment and was lifted into the air by Darram and Hitler, is now quietly floating in the stratosphere tens of thousands of meters above the ground.

Here, there is no worldly clamor, no roaring of monsters, and no smell of sweat from ordinary laborers. Surrounded by pure white clouds, beneath your feet lie flawless white jade slabs, and the air is filled with a sacred aura brought by a high concentration of light particles.

However, deep within this sacred place, hailed as the "abode of the gods," the atmosphere was oppressively suffocating.

With his hands behind his back, Karfa stood before the crystal railing at the edge of the Sanctuary, his eyes, which had originally emitted a gentle white light, now fixed intently on the surface of the Earth below.

Through the layers of clouds, thanks to the extraordinary eyesight of the Giant of Light, he could clearly see the brightly lit ancient city, the humans singing and laughing around the campfire, and even the ugly winged monster lying obediently at the alien's feet, being fed by the civilians.

"Blasphemy... This is blasphemy without any limits!"

Karfa slammed his fist into the crystal railing, the immense force instantly covering the hard crystal, formed from ancient technology, with spiderweb-like cracks.

He felt an unprecedented sense of humiliation. They were giants of light, supreme beings with long lifespans, capable of flight and burrowing through the earth, wielding power sufficient to destroy planets. When Gatanothor's dark minions ravaged the land, it was they who fought valiantly to save these fragile ants.

But what about now? These ants have actually become allies with the monsters that once trampled their home! That chief warrior named Tiga, that so-called Earth Star Guard, actually tolerated an alien of unknown origin trampling on the dignity of the Giant of Light, and talking to a beast about "sustainable development"!

What Karfa found even more unbearable was that since they moved into this celestial sanctuary, the humans on the ground seemed to have completely forgotten about them. There were no prayers, no reverence, not even a single glance upwards.

"Are forgotten gods still gods?"

A sudden, eerie voice echoed from behind the empty hall of Kalfa.

"Who is it?!" Karfa whirled around, a deadly white destructive energy blast instantly forming in his palm as he warily scanned his surroundings. This Sky Sanctuary possessed an absolute energy isolation barrier; apart from the Pure Faction's giants of light, no life form could possibly infiltrate it silently.

"Don't be nervous, great warrior of light, or rather... the future ruler of Earth."

The space ahead rippled like water, twisting and contorting. Then, a ball of eerie blue spiritual flame appeared out of thin air. The flame gradually lengthened and twisted, eventually transforming into a humanoid creature. Its face wore a bizarre mask that seemed to be neither smiling nor crying, and it was draped in a robe that burned like hellfire.

"I am a Kyrierod. You may call me the Holy Prophet." The masked man bowed slightly, performing a very classical aristocratic gesture, but his posture revealed a condescending arrogance.

"Kirieloids?" Kalfa frowned, the killing intent in his eyes not diminishing in the slightest. "I've heard of you."

"A bunch of creatures hiding in another dimension, playing tricks and causing trouble. Why don't you stay in your own little corners and come to my sacred domain to die?"

"Seeking death? No, no, no, Commander Karfa, I have come to bring you salvation, and at the same time, to forge a great alliance."

The prophet Kirielod ignored the light blast in Karfa's hand and slowly walked forward. His voice seemed to possess a certain magic, striking directly at Karfa's most vulnerable defenses.

"Look at your current situation, you noble giants. You have been ostracized and corrupted by that man named Kaul, trapped in this magnificent cage. You should have been the sole rulers of this planet, and humanity should have been worshipping you at your feet, offering your light with the most devout faith. But what about now?"

The prophet stretched out his finger and pointed to the myriad lights below.

"They have betrayed the gods and chosen to dance with beasts. That hypocritical guy, Tiga, is corrupting the glory of the giant of light with his gentleness. If this continues, the light will no longer be pure, and this world will be completely turned into a playground for aliens and monsters."

Karfa's chest heaved violently, and the light blast in his hand flickered, because every word from the Kirieloid pierced the deepest, most hidden part of his heart.

"What exactly are you trying to say?" Karfa asked through gritted teeth.

"Let's cooperate, Karfa." The prophet opened his arms, and the expression on his mask seemed to transform into a fervent expectation at that moment.

"We, the Kirieloids, possess the power to guide human souls and shape faith. But we lack an invincible body capable of sweeping away all resistance. You, on the other hand, possess power that surpasses all things, yet you have lost the foundation of your faith."

"If you are willing to take action and launch a 'Great Purge,' completely eradicating Tiga, Yuzare, that alien, and all the monsters, we Kirieloids will descend upon the earth and tell those ignorant humans amidst the ruins: This is the wrath of the gods! We will guide the surviving humans to worship you as the one and only eternal gods of this planet!"

"You are responsible for establishing order with your iron fist, and we are responsible for reaping the fruits of faith. This is the perfect ecosystem that this planet should have."

Karfa remained silent.

Deep within his heart, the seed that had long been quietly planted by Gatanothor's dark whispers began to take root and sprout wildly under the alluring nourishment of the Kirieloids.

"Cleansing...the hypocrites..." Karfa muttered to himself, his eyes, which had originally radiated a pure white light, began to seep out a purplish-black hue from the edges.

He didn't notice that beneath the eerie mask of the prophet Kirielod lay a chilling mockery.

How could the Kirieloids, these spiritual beings who pride themselves on being a combination of demons and angels, possibly be willing to submit to the giants of light?

Their alliance with Kalfa was simply a ploy to instigate a civil war within the Giants of Light.

When the Pure faction and the Moderate faction of Ultraman Tiga fight to the death, that will be the time when the Kirieloids will truly take over the Earth.

"For absolute purity." Karfa slowly put away the light blast in his hand. He turned around and looked at the followers deep in the hall whose eyes were also beginning to glow with a purplish-black light. His voice became low and hoarse, as if he had become a different person.

"The contract is established."

At that moment, the gods atop the tower fell completely into the abyss.

The civil war among the giants of light has now begun its irreversible countdown.
