Chapter 50 Provocation
Chapter 50 Provocation
When Thor was a human in his previous life, he used to blast fish in the reservoir in his hometown when he was a child.
Every winter, the water at the sluice gate is exceptionally clear. If a torpedo is dropped, the silver carp and bighead carp within a radius of seven or eight meters will be stunned and disoriented.
At this moment, the violent shockwave was shaking the internal organs of those black dragon hatchlings, causing them so much pain that they felt like vomiting blood.
Before Thor could unleash his second breath, these creatures flapped their wings and emerged from the water in a disheveled state.
"Damn it! Stop blowing it up!"
"My chest hurts so much, and I feel like I'm going deaf!"
It's fortunate that it was a real dragon with a tough physique; if it were an ordinary creature, it would probably have died on the spot after taking such a blow.
But Thor showed no sign of stopping. A cold smile appeared on his lips as he unleashed five more rockburst bombs, each as large as a cartwheel, which whistled into the water.
The deafening roar resumed, and the splashing water condensed into a miniature rainbow in mid-air.
The black dragon cubs floating on the water frantically flapped their wings and hurriedly flew up from the water, only to be met with Thor's swift claw strikes.
Now, they were truly trapped with nowhere to turn.
However, just over ten minutes later, all the black dragon hatchlings were beaten to the ground by Thor, large patches of scales falling off their bodies and their wing membranes riddled with torn holes. They could only obediently lie on the ground and beg for mercy.
"Stop fighting! We were wrong!"
"We shouldn't have listened to those green dragons' instigation and launched a siege against you!"
"It's all those damned green dragons' fault! We were forced into this!"
Upon hearing this, a fierce glint flashed in the emerald eyes of the three green dragons, and they hurriedly growled.
"nonsense!"
"You damned vermin, stop spouting nonsense! When have we ever done such a thing!"
"It was clearly your own decision, yet you're trying to pin the blame on others. It's absolutely despicable!"
"Lord Thor, these guys don't tell the truth at all, you absolutely mustn't believe them!"
As the two groups of young dragons began to argue, the air was filled with the strong smell of gunpowder.
As he watched the fragments of essence keep appearing below his line of sight, Thor felt a surge of pleasure and had no intention of stopping them.
It would be best if these two groups of young dragons could fight each other. Only by making the five-colored dragons divided and hostile to each other can he better control the overall situation.
"Both of you have valid points, so who can provide evidence to prove the other is lying?"
Upon hearing this, the black and green dragons exchanged bewildered glances. Where did they get the evidence for such a thing? They all remained silent.
This was exactly what Thor had expected, so he growled again.
"Since you all say this wasn't your idea, then all that's left are those blue dragons."
Now that you've admitted your mistakes, shouldn't you show some sincerity? Come with me and defeat those blue dragons, and I'll believe you were coerced.
The unquestionable words came from Thor's mouth, carrying a strong smell of sulfur.
Upon hearing this, both the green dragon and the black dragon hatchlings felt a pang of anxiety.
Thor is a tough opponent, but those blue dragons are no pushovers either!
This is, after all, the territory of the Blue Dragon Clan led by Stormfang. If you offend those Blue Dragon Hatchlings, things won't be easy for you in the future.
However, under Thor's piercing gaze, they had no choice but to lower their heads silently. What the future held was a matter for later; they had to get through this hurdle first.
Then, Thor led these green and black dragons in a grand procession toward the blue dragon's lair—a place on the edge of the oasis, a series of raised sand dunes.
A dry, hot wind blew in from the Gobi Desert, carrying with it the scent of sand.
The vibrations caused by the nine young dragons running across the ground inevitably attracted the attention of the blue dragons, who emerged from underground and looked at the approaching tri-colored figure with apprehension.
Thor stopped about fifty meters away from the blue dragon whelps, glanced at their still-healing scars, and began to mock them mercilessly.
"Look at you all, your scales aren't even intact, you look like plucked chickens, so ridiculous."
Hearing these arrogant words, the blue dragons were instantly enraged. Some of the more irritable ones began to gather their strength, their chests and abdomens bulging, and dazzling electric currents flashing from the corners of their mouths.
"What the hell is this guy talking about!"
"Don't think you're so great just because you won once. One day, you'll witness the true power of the Blue Dragon!"
Verex, however, did not let this cloud its judgment. It glanced at the green and black dragons following Thor and a sense of foreboding rose in its heart.
These guys were almost all wounded, and their eyes, as they stared at the red dragon ahead, were filled with intense hatred and fear, indicating that they had probably already fought each other.
But why are they all here in the Blue Dragon's territory? Verix pondered for a moment, and the answer came to him.
Sure enough, that damned red dragon wore a playful expression and uttered those vicious words once again.
"These guys behind me told me that the Blue Dragons were the ones who suggested attacking me? What a bunch of cowardly bums, always playing these underhanded tricks!"
Upon hearing this, one of the blue dragon hatchlings standing on the sand dune could no longer contain itself and roared in a low voice with an electric current.
"Nonsense! It was clearly those green dragons and black dragons who approached us. This is blatant slander!"
"Oh, really?"
Thor turned to look at the young dragon behind him. He could guess the details, but that didn't stop him from stirring things up.
"This answer is quite different from what you said before! So who's telling the truth—Green Dragon?"
Her pale golden pupils swept over the three green dragon hatchlings. Faced with this malicious gaze, Cui Bisi hurriedly shook her head frantically with her two companions.
"No! It wasn't us!"
"We've never done anything like that before!"
Thor turned his gaze to the black dragons and received the same answer.
"It wasn't us either!"
"We were all forced into this!"
Faced with this expected answer, he turned his head and looked at the blue dragon hatchling in front of him again. He squatted down on the ground with his two front paws outstretched, as if he was helplessly growling.
"What a pity! I wanted to believe you too, but look at the situation now, both the green dragons and the black dragons claim they were forced, so there's only one truth..."
At this point, Thor's voice suddenly stopped. Looking at the disbelief and anger written on the faces of the blue dragons, he grinned and revealed a cold, sinister smile.
"So now, are you ready to face my wrath? All of you, charge! Break the wings of these cowards, and twist off their ridiculous little horns!"
A surge of magic power flowed from Thor's body into his mind, transforming into a fierce aura that spread outwards.
The green and black dragon cubs behind him suddenly felt a strong shock to their minds and involuntarily rushed out.
The blue dragon hatchlings ahead were already on edge, and seeing that the enemy had already taken action, they launched a counterattack without thinking.
In an instant, dazzling electric currents and dark green acid shot everywhere, and yellow-green toxic fumes spread, turning the scene into complete chaos.
