Chapter 185 Collecting All 7 Dragon Balls
Chapter 185 Collecting All 7 Dragon Balls
At Frieza's army base on Namek, several soldiers leaned against the wall, yawning repeatedly, their faces showing signs of weariness.
Suddenly, several blinding beams of light streaked across the sky, instantly striking the soldiers patrolling outside, who fell to the ground, unable to get up.
Upon hearing the explosion, the soldiers inside the base rushed out of their rooms in a panic, shouting, "What happened? Where did that explosion come from? Let's go check it out!"
A figure slowly emerged from the sky, letting out a low, cold snort. It was Vegeta, who coldly laughed, "Just as I expected, Frieza has already left. Truly, heaven is on my side!"
Vegeta slowly descended, walking unhurriedly towards the spaceship. The soldiers of Frieza's army were instantly terrified upon seeing Vegeta, instinctively retreating in disarray.
A soldier, mustering his courage, asked in a slightly trembling voice, "Vegeta, what are you doing here?"
Vegeta scoffed at this, not even glancing at him, and walked straight ahead. The soldiers, though hesitant to attack Vegeta, also dared not ignore his intrusion, and could only cautiously surround him, moving with him. Vegeta paid no heed, quickly weaving through the corridors, single-mindedly searching for the Dragon Balls.
However, even after Vegeta searched every room, he still couldn't find any trace of the Dragon Balls.
Vegeta finally lost his patience and roared, "Hey! Does any of you know where the Dragon Balls are?"
The soldiers glared at each other, and although they didn't say a word, their slightly trembling bodies betrayed their inner fear.
Seeing this, Vegeta sneered disdainfully, "You guys are really loyal! In that case..." Before he could finish speaking, Vegeta raised his right hand, spread his five fingers, and pointed them at the soldiers in front of him.
The soldiers seemed to sense the danger; their faces turned deathly pale, and they shouted in terror, "Run! Run!"
Watching the soldiers scatter and flee, Vegeta smirked, his hand flashing with energy. Then, a powerful energy wave roared out like a cannonball, blasting straight at the soldiers.
"Rumble..."
After a loud explosion, dust filled the air. When the dust settled, all the soldiers lay lifeless in pools of blood.
Vegeta looked at the dead soldiers and coldly mocked, "A bunch of blusterers, all they know is how to pretend to be loyal. Since you like pretending so much, then go to hell and continue being Frieza's faithful lackeys!"
Vegeta strode steadily into Frieza's command center. He crossed his arms, narrowed his eyes slightly, and muttered to himself, "That Frieza guy, since he left Ginyu here to guard it, it seems the Dragon Balls must be hidden nearby. But in which corner are they hidden..."
Vegeta's mind suddenly flashed back to the three Earthlings, and he frowned slightly as he continued to ponder: "Those three Earthlings always manage to find the Dragon Balls so easily because of that strange Dragon Ball radar they have. Judging from the current situation, they should be here soon. Hmph, in that case, I just need to wait patiently here."
Thinking this, Vegeta's face revealed a confident sneer. He tilted his head slightly, a hint of disdain in his eyes: "Before they arrive, I should take advantage of this lull to change into a brand new battle suit. When we meet them later, I can't afford to lose face." With that, he turned and strode out of the command room, his figure gradually disappearing at the end of the corridor.
Before long, Shang Yun and his two companions used the Dragon Ball Radar to locate Frieza's spaceship.
Inside the spaceship, Vegeta was already fully dressed, his brand-new battle suit making him appear even more imposing. He keenly sensed Shang Yun and the others approaching, a glint of light flashing in his eyes as he thought to himself, "They've finally arrived. However, I can't let them detect my presence so easily. I must conceal my aura like they do." The thought had barely formed in his mind when Vegeta immediately activated his unique ki control technique, and his previously projected powerful aura receded like a receding tide.
Outside the spaceship, Shang Yun, Krillin, and Gohan hovered steadily above it. Krillin's eyes were fixed on the spaceship below, filled with urgency. He couldn't help but say, "It seems the Dragon Balls are inside this spaceship. Let's hurry down and find them!" As soon as he finished speaking, he eagerly prepared to fly down.
Gohan, clutching the Dragon Radar tightly, quickly called out to stop them, "Wait a minute, Uncle Krillin!"
Upon hearing the shout, Krillin abruptly stopped, and Shang Yun, who was about to fly away, also stopped abruptly. The two of them turned their gazes toward Son Gohan.
Son Gohan frowned, staring at the flashing dots on the Dragon Ball radar, and said seriously, "The Dragon Ball radar shows that the Dragon Balls are not inside the spaceship, but next to it."
"what?!"
The three quickly arrived at the location where Ginyu had buried the Dragon Balls and stopped steadily. Shang Yun's eyes swept across the ground, and he said with a gleam in his eyes, "That's right, there are indeed traces of something being buried here before."
Krillin exclaimed excitedly, "I never imagined the Dragon Balls would be hidden in such a place!"
"Let's start digging!" As soon as the words were spoken, the three of them began digging with their bare hands without hesitation.
"Found it! There's one here!"
"There's one here too!"
"Haha, there are more here! I never expected the Dragon Balls to be hidden here!"
The three of them dug and shouted excitedly, their joy at the harvest overflowing.
Not far away, Vegeta was silently watching everything from the back of the spaceship. He narrowed his eyes slightly, a sly glint in them, and thought to himself, "Very good, I didn't expect them to bury the Dragon Balls in a place like this. No wonder I couldn't find them anywhere. Once they summon Shenron, I'll show myself immediately and be the first to say my wish."
"Hahaha, that's great!" A hearty laugh echoed in the air. Krillin pointed at Gohan's nose, laughing so hard he was bent over, teasing, "Gohan, look at you, your nose is all dirty like a little kitten's!"
Upon hearing this, Gohan instinctively rubbed his nose, making it even dirtier than before, resulting in a comical appearance. This scene made Shang Yun and Krillin laugh even harder, their laughter growing louder and louder.
Gohan feigned annoyance and immediately retorted, "And you're talking about me, Uncle Krillin! Look at yourself!" It turned out that Krillin's face was also covered in mud, in patches that were quite noticeable.
The three of them exchanged glances and, seeing each other's disheveled and comical appearance, couldn't help but burst into an even louder laugh.
However, the cheerful laughter, reaching Vegeta's ears from afar, sounded like sharp noise, only increasing his irritation. He gritted his teeth, cursing inwardly, "Stop dawdling! Hurry up and summon Shenron!"
The three of them wiped the mud off their faces, and their cheerful laughter gradually subsided. Their expressions became serious and solemn as they gazed down at the dragon balls on the ground, which were emitting a mysterious light. Shang Yun, filled with emotion, spoke first: "It really wasn't easy. After so many twists and turns, we finally managed to collect all the dragon balls."
Son Gohan nodded vigorously, his eyes shining with anticipation, and said softly, "Yes, once we summon Shenron, Uncle Piccolo and the others can be revived."
Klin took a deep breath, his gaze resolute, and his tone tinged with excitement: "Alright! Then let us see what a genuine dragon looks like!"
