The previous generation's successor, Isidora Morgana, recklessly used ancient magic.
After discovering the power contained within emotions, she not only used her own power but also tried to extract the power of others for her own use.
However, it is dangerous to extract other people's emotions without their consent, even if her initial intention was to help them get rid of the troubles of negative emotions.
The result, naturally, was a major disaster.
After she turned to the dark side, she was killed by her mentors.
The vast amount of negative emotional energy she had collected was sealed away.
The entire story of "The Legacy of Hogwarts" revolves around the struggle between a transfer student and a goblin named Lanlock.
Lanlock's ancestors participated in creating the secret vault that sealed the power of negative emotions.
According to fairy tradition, the creator of an item is naturally its owner.
Therefore, the items that wizards commissioned fairies to make were essentially entrusted to the wizards for temporary safekeeping—even if the wizards provided payment and raw materials.
After a wizard dies, a fairy has the right to reclaim his creation.
According to this tradition, the evil fairy Lanlock attempts to obtain the secret vault, break the seal, acquire this forbidden power, and then take revenge on the wizard on behalf of the fairies.
In the final battle, Lanlock, who controlled this negative emotional power, became incredibly powerful, transforming into a dragon composed entirely of magic. Its terrifying breath was incessant, and the entire underground cavern was so fiercely attacked that even magma seemed to erupt from it.
If it weren't for the transfer student being so strong, the entire Hogwarts might have been wiped out.
This is enough to demonstrate the power of this force.
Ultimately, Lanlock was killed, and this immense power was left in the underground of Hogwarts.
There are two endings to The Legacy of Hogwarts.
The ending of the Good Path is that the protagonist seals this power underground at Hogwarts.
The evil storyline involves the protagonist personally absorbing this power and becoming an incredibly powerful dark wizard.
"In this world, it should follow the path of goodness, otherwise there would be no need for Dumbledore and Grindelwald. The transfer student alone could rule the wizarding world."
"In that case, the underground cavity is indeed worth exploring."
"Levin, Levin, what are you thinking about? We're at the auditorium!"
Just as he was thinking about this, he suddenly heard Ciri's voice.
Turning his head, he saw the Witcher looking at him with concern, and Hermione was there too.
He was already in the auditorium.
It was lunchtime, and the young wizards, who had just finished watching a ball game, were all enjoying their meal at the long table.
He himself was pulled here by Ciri while he was deep in thought.
Seeing that Levin was no longer lost in thought, Ciri seized the opportunity to say:
“While Diggory’s accusations were somewhat excessive, there is a point to what he said: you can’t do this all the time; it’s too dangerous.”
“I’m sorry, Ciri, but I do have something important to consider,” Levin said apologetically.
He certainly wouldn't be as cold to those who care about him as he was to Cedric Diggory.
"What have you been thinking about lately?" Hermione asked curiously. "Why are you so listless and unable to eat or drink?"
Levin hesitated for a moment before telling them about the Hogwarts underground cavern.
"A secret room with a map? An underground cave? Ancient magic?"
"I haven't seen you for a few days, and you've discovered so many strange things again!"
"You're not going to sneak out through the tunnel in the middle of the night again, are you?"
Hermione both admired and felt helpless about Levin's ability to cause trouble.
In this respect, he surpasses even Harry and Jude 673.
Harry does indeed like to stir things up.
However, due to their own limitations, they can usually only handle small tasks. To handle big tasks, they need a stroke of luck and a helping hand from Voldemort.
But Levin is different.
He truly has both the ability and the willingness to pull off a major project.
Hermione was quite conflicted about this situation.
On the one hand, she is a rule-abiding girl and has always hoped to be a good child. She is generally disgusted by behaviors that break the rules.
On the other hand, she also harbors an irrepressible adventurous spirit and always hopes to accomplish something great.
You see, they're willing to follow the rules, yet they also aspire to accomplish great things.
No wonder he wants to be Minister of Magic in the future—once he becomes Minister of Magic, he'll be the rule, and then he can both abide by the rules and accomplish great things!
Faced with Hermione's dilemma, Levin only said one thing:
Are you going or not?
"Of course I want to go!"
He had barely finished speaking when Hermione couldn't wait to say...
"You won't be leaving me this time!"
"Okay, okay, I won't leave you behind." Levin gently stroked her little head to comfort her, then looked at Cirira.
“I’ll always be there for you if you need me.” Ciri gave Levin a reassuring smile.
"In that case, I'll be waiting for you at the entrance of the library in Shacheng at eight o'clock tonight."

Chapter 117 Pensieve
Eight o'clock in the evening, outside the library.
Hermione and Cirella were already waiting there. Seeing that Levin hadn't arrived, the two of them started chatting, discussing the specifics of ancient magic.
But as the time was running out, the boy was nowhere to be seen.
Why hasn't he arrived yet?
Hermione said anxiously, "He always arrives a few minutes early."
"So, that's why you came here early, isn't it? How thoughtful of you, Miss Granger."
Ciri spoke in a strange tone at the end, as if she had found a loophole in the other party's words.
"Likewise, Senior Lei Anlun!"
Hermione retorted sharply.
Just as the two were about to start another argument, the boy emerged from the library.
"Hey, you actually went in early. You were the one who told us to be there at eight o'clock."
Hermione was somewhat displeased.
"Don't worry, Miss Granger, Levin must have his reasons."
Shireira reminded her.
“Ciri is right, Hermione, of course I have my reasons.”
Levin said, shaking the book in his hand.
Hermione could see that the book's cover read "The True Explanation of the Jade Record".
"I just used borrowing books as an excuse to go into the restricted book section. I set the coordinates at the destination in advance before I came out to find you."
He explained:
"Few people come to the forbidden book area anyway, so we can't enter together, otherwise we'll easily arouse suspicion. With the spatial coordinates, we can teleport in."
"I see, I misunderstood."
Hermione apologized sheepishly, then asked:
"But why don't we come when it's late at night and no one's around?"
“Good question, Hermione. That’s because the restricted area is so important that the security measures must be very strict, especially after the library closes. Back then, the restricted area not only had multiple access control points, but also various warning spells and ghost patrols.”
Levin replied that this was true, at least in the original "Legacy of Hogwarts".
He didn't want to play Assassin's Creed again in real life with two other people.
"Rather than taking that risk, it's better to come over while Mrs. Pince is still at get off work. After all, Mrs. Pince is easier to fool than those magic tricks."
"Mrs. Pince likes you so much; she would be heartbroken to hear you speak of her like that," Chuan said.
Hilly stood up for Mrs. Pince.
“That’s two different things, Ciri.” Levin shook his head. “Mrs. Pince is still a fan of Lockhart.”
The three of them talked as they walked to a secluded corner.
Levin grabbed the two and initiated a teleportation:
"[Teleportation Rune - Activated]!"
[Teleportation Rune: 5th Ring Conjuration - Allows you to create a magical mark that you can instantly teleport to.]
In an instant, the three of them appeared in front of an iron gate at the very bottom of the forbidden book section.
Hermione looked around and found herself in an old, unfamiliar library.
The walls were covered with portraits—but none of them were moving. In the corner sat an Iron Maiden, and on the table in the center was a mermaid mummy.
Behind them was a staircase leading upwards to the familiar restricted book section.
"We actually moved to the lower level of the restricted book section."
She tried to suppress the urge to exclaim in amazement and whispered,
"I've heard that no one except the headmaster can Apparate at Hogwarts. How did you do it?"
"No, I can't apparite."
