After exchanging places with Shadow, Lucci saw Ace lying on the ground. Although he was still conscious, he looked very weak. Chains bound his arms and body, but fortunately his legs were not restricted, which meant he could still walk. As for the seastone chain, he would solve this problem later, after they left.

"Asshole, let me go!!"

Ignoring Ace's roar, Lucci hurriedly pulled Ace up and walked quickly towards the coast.

"L...Lucci!?" Ace opened his eyes wide, obviously shocked, and stumbled after Lucci. "What are you going to do!?"

"No." Lucci replied simply, while paying close attention to his surroundings. Even though he had tricked Blackbeard, they would soon realize what was happening. He could even hear Blackbeard's angry curses behind him.

"So, how are you going to get them off me?" Ace asked, a hint of obvious panic in his voice.

"It's okay, I have a way to open it, but we have to solve this problem later." Lucci comforted him. He knew that Ace would feel vulnerable without the ability of the fruit, but he did not stop because of this. They had better leave the island as soon as possible, not only because of Blackbeard, he always felt that there was something spying on them outside his sight.

"Now, let's get out of here quickly. We may have to walk another kilometer or two to reach my ship." Lucci urged, speeding up at the same time. Ace was tied up with chains and couldn't run fast, but at least he was still moving. They would arrive soon.

"No! We can't leave!" Ace shouted anxiously. They couldn't leave here. They had to get rid of Blackbeard on this island, otherwise he would most likely continue to target Luffy.

"What? Why!?" Lucci shouted in disbelief, almost tripping over himself. Don't tell him, Ace's no-retreat principle kicked in again. "Don't forget what I told you! Retreating is just as important as holding your ground!"

Ace didn't respond immediately. It seemed to Lucci that Ace had started again. He couldn't help but feel a headache, but he still pulled him to continue walking. At the same time, he shouted angrily, "Listen, Ace, it's not just because of Blackbeard. This island gives me a strange feeling. I always feel like I'm being watched. I suspect there are other people lying in ambush here. We can't fight Blackbeard so recklessly under such circumstances."

"What? He hasn't given up yet!?" Lucci stopped in shock, almost not noticing Ace bumping into his back because of his sudden stop. He was obviously upset about what Ace said. Blackbeard had been interested in Luffy when they were in Jaya, and he thought it was over, but now he had set his sights on Luffy again.

"Lucci, what do you mean?" Ace asked confusedly. "I don't even know how he knows Luffy!"

"His wanted poster." Lucci sighed deeply and turned to look at Ace. This was really troublesome. "He has been interested in Luffy since he was in Jaya. As expected, no matter what he does, trouble will always find him. You two are really the most troublesome guys... Get out of the way!"

Before Lucci could finish his words, a cane suddenly appeared in his field of vision. Subconsciously, Lucci immediately pushed Ace away to avoid the attack of the cane, but the attack was too close and the two did not completely avoid it. The cane hit Lucci's head and the mask flew off his face.

Almost instantly, Lucci felt a black screen in front of his eyes, and unexpected pain instantly spread throughout his head. Physiological tears blurred his vision, and the severe pain made his consciousness instantly dim.

Despite this, Lucci turned around immediately and raised the sword in his hand to prepare for the next attack, but at this moment he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his upper arm and a bullet hit his arm hard.

Lucci's breathing hitched. He looked down and saw a stream of blood flowing down his arm. His vision wandered as he stared blankly at the wound on his arm, wondering where the sniper was hiding...

"Blackbeard!!" Ace roared angrily from behind him. "Lucci, what's wrong with you?!"

Lucci came to his senses in an instant and pressed his left hand on the wound. As he used his ability, the wound on his hand gradually disappeared, but his head was still aching. He touched his temple with his hand, but there was no wound there.

"Blackbeard! You bastard!!" Ace struggled to sit up and glared angrily at the approaching Blackbeard.

"Hahahaha! Vice Captain, your fruit ability is really interesting!"

Lucci endured the pain in his head that was gradually making him feel nauseous, and frowned as he stared at the approaching Blackbeard. There were four people and a sniper hiding, out of his domineering range.

"Hahahaha! Do you want to rescue the commander quietly?" Blackbeard laughed smugly.

"Originally, but now I want to finish you off here!" Lucci ignored the dull pain in his head and glared at Blackbeard with gritted teeth.

"I've already beaten you once, Lucci. It won't make any difference if I beat you again! Hahaha!" Blackbeard laughed out loud.

"Captain." Poison Q breathed beside him, "He really did treat you badly last time."

"Just barely," Lafayette agreed, adding in a teasing tone, "You only won last time because of the advantage of surprise."

Blackbeard frowned and looked at him angrily. After a moment, he looked at the tied-up Ace and started laughing again. "No, I will still win this time!"

"Since you are unwilling to join me... then I will hand you all over to the World Government!" Blackbeard smiled sinisterly, his eyes flashing with pure darkness and confidence, as if he had everything under control. "Guess what, once I hand you over to the World Government, what will they do to you? Hahahaha!"

"Ace, you leave here first!" Lucci clenched the sword in his hand and stared at Blackbeard. At least Ace could leave here first.

"Impossible! I won't leave!!" Ace refused without hesitation.

"Go!" Lucci gritted his teeth and shouted.

"Never!! I won't abandon you!!" Ace shouted angrily, struggling to stand up and join Lucci.

Lucci turned to look at Ace angrily, but seeing the anger in his eyes, he finally shut up, because if it were him, he would not leave. Even if he had the ability to leave, he would refuse. Then there was only one way!
