Chapter 396 has 6 floors
Hearing the familiar voice, Luffy looked up in surprise. A familiar figure with green hair was standing on the top of the cell. Luffy couldn't believe his eyes and shouted in surprise, "Hey!? Zoro..."
Luffy watched him leap down and kick the stupid lion hard. His face then changed into that of Xiao Feng. Although he was disappointed that it wasn't Zoro, he was still very happy to meet his familiar friend here. He still remembered that Xiao Feng helped them divert the pursuit of the navy. "Xiao Feng! You're still alive!"
Luffy shouted in surprise as he dodged the guards' frantic sword swings and knocked them all down with his fists. Then he joined in beating the lion. Soon the lion fell completely. Luffy sat on the lion's swollen bump and sighed helplessly at the fallen lion, "I hope it won't cause trouble again after being beaten like this!"
"Hey, Xiao Feng, I thought you were dead at that time!" Luffy hugged Xiao Feng excitedly and said gratefully, "Thank you for helping us divert the navy at that time!"
"Shemales can't die!" Xiao Feng hugged Luffy happily. He was very happy to see his friend in this prison.
"By the way, Straw Hat, I heard that you are going to Level 5?" Xiao Feng let go of Luffy and asked.
"Yeah, can you tell me how to get there!?" Luffy said happily.
"Then let's go together. I also want to go to LeveL5 to meet someone!" Von Clay said with a smile.
"Really?!" Luffy said happily.
Then Xiao Feng pulled him past the unconscious guards, took him through the corridor and through a side door. A path without any guards appeared in front of him. This was unfair. If he was alone, he would definitely miss this door because it looked like a wall, which would make him miss a lot. He didn't have time to tell whether these were doors or walls. He couldn't waste any time tracking Ace. Ace's execution countdown was always hanging over his head.
"Little Straw Hat, why did you break in?" Xiao Feng asked.
"Ace is here, he is my brother, I want to save him, do you know which floor he is on?" Luffy asked. He didn't know how long he had been in prison, but he didn't keep quiet for long, because he was discovered by the guards brought by Buggy on the first floor.
After Von Clay got over his initial shock about Fire Fist Ace being the Straw Hat's brother, he thought silently, "Straw Hat, if your brother is Fire Fist Ace, I don't think he would be on the fifth floor. I've heard a lot of rumors here."
"Why? Isn't that the lowest one?" Luffy asked with a frown. Hancock said that Ace and Lucci would be on the lowest floor, and the life paper was indeed pointing downwards.
"I've heard that some prisoners mysteriously disappear on the fifth floor. The guards claim they're possessed by demons. I doubt that's true, but I don't think they'd lock Ace the Fire Fist up there. He might disappear, and they wouldn't take that risk," Von Clay explained. "Some other prisoners believe there's another floor below the fifth floor, where someone truly important is held."
"There are six floors..." Luffy's heart sank, this meant he was further away from Ace and Lucci.
"Xiao Feng, do you know how to get to the sixth floor?" Luffy looked up at Xiao Feng and asked. His friend seemed to know the situation in this prison very well.
"That's just a rumor. No one has actually seen the sixth floor," Feng Clay said sympathetically. "But the person I want to see is on the fifth floor. Maybe he knows how to get to the sixth floor. We can ask him then."
Luffy nodded, his heart inevitably growing heavy, but he quickly cheered up again. Looking at Von Clay running and spinning in the corridor, he asked again, "Little Von, do you know the other Whitebeard who was brought in with Ace? He has dazzling blond hair."
Hearing the question, Von Clay stopped spinning and looked at Luffy in surprise. "Blond? Are you looking for him? I didn't know he came in with your brother. He was carried past my cell by the guards a few days ago. That's the only time I saw him."
"But the guards kept chatting about the prisoner during that time. He seemed to be an important person because they seemed to have sent him to the infirmary in the end," added Von Klei.
"Infirmary..." Luffy repeated weakly, "Is he seriously injured?"
Von Clay patted Luffy's shoulder sympathetically. "They won't waste their limited resources on prisoners easily."
"Xiao Feng, do you know where the infirmary is? I want to go save him!" Luffy looked at Feng Clay anxiously.
"The infirmary is on the fourth floor, but Straw Hat, are you going to save him? He must be under close guard now!" Von Clay said in surprise.
"Yes, I must go and save him. He is my brother." Luffy nodded heavily.
Von Clay looked at Luffy in surprise, then sighed heavily and reminded him, "Do you want to rescue him first? From the guards' chatter, he seems to have been in a coma. We may not be able to take him away."
Luffy frowned and took out the burning life paper from his pocket. Both were burning, but Ace's was more serious now. Maybe Lucci was being treated, Luffy guessed, and then noticed that one of the life papers placed flat on the palm of his hand was changing the twisting direction.
Luffy blinked in confusion, making sure he saw it right. Lucci's life paper was indeed slowly moving to the left. Luffy took a deep breath and grinned, "Xiao Feng! Let's go to the fourth floor!"
Von Clay grinned, respecting Luffy's choice "Follow me!"
……
On the horizon, the huge underwater prison appeared in their sight. Sabo felt a little nervous as he looked at the prison. If there was a hell in this world, it must be this, the legendary inescapable hell. Perhaps they were the only ones who would take the initiative to approach it.
However, Sabo knew that it was not impossible to escape. Many years ago, the Western Army Commander Mori successfully escaped from it and lived to tell them about his experience. There was also Ivankov who was now hiding inside Impel. Most of their information about this prison was basically obtained from them.
Sabo wrote down everything before coming, every route, every escape route, every hidden entrance, even the location of every Den Den Mushi and the area where every prisoner was located. He remembered them clearly. He would make sure that there would be no possibility of failure in their operation this time.
"There are more warships surrounding here than the ones that appeared during our last Demon Slayer Order." Qi muttered as he looked at the large number of warships parked at the prison gate.
They had arrived at their destination. Sabo frowned as he looked at the large number of warships anchored outside. He could even feel twenty or thirty ships surrounding their ship as they moved forward. This could potentially turn into a full-scale naval battle. Fortunately, they did not need to face these navies for the time being.
They docked next to the naval warship, with the medical supplies on the warship. Six people could enter. Devin, disguised as a naval captain, led them out of the warship and walked towards the huge iron gate. Sabo and Qi fell at the end of the team so as not to attract anyone's attention so that they could carry out a quiet escape.
As they stepped through the gate with heavy steps, the iron door behind them immediately slammed shut, and the view instantly became pitch black. Sabo felt a chill running down his spine. The long corridor was covered with dark stone walls, and light could hardly penetrate.
