Chapter 444 Luffy's Plan
"But you still have to see if Lucci is willing to join." Ace teased and began to tease his brother. "If Lucci plans to stay, I'd be very happy."
"I won't leave Lucci to you!" Luffy shouted dissatisfiedly, "I will definitely let Lucci join."
"Then you have to work harder, Luffy." Ace said to Luffy with a sly smile, "That guy is very stubborn about the ideas he has made up his mind. If Lucci still doesn't agree before you leave Moby, I will fight with you for it."
"I will succeed! I won't let you take Lucci away!" Luffy glared at Ace dissatisfiedly, then looked thoughtfully at the room where Lucci was sleeping.

"Come on, Luffy, you should stay in bed too," Ace said, pointing at the bed.
"I don't want to." Luffy pouted and stared at Ace with his big dark eyes.
"Then..." Ace looked into Luffy's eyes and spoke unconsciously, then he screamed madly, "Luffy, don't look at me like that! It won't work on me! I'm immune to it!!"
"But lying down is really boring." Luffy complained.
"Luffy, if you want to get better soon and play with us, you have to rest quietly in bed for another two days." Sabo said gently, but his tone left no room for doubt.
Feeling Sabo's rare seriousness, Luffy swallowed, knowing that Sabo would not agree to let him go out again, but resting was too boring, and he had something more important to do.
"Can I have something to eat then?" Luffy blinked and looked at Sabo pitifully.
"Didn't you eat enough just now, Luffy?" Sabo asked doubtfully, but seeing Luffy's pitiful eyes, he continued, "Then I'll go ask Thatch if he has any food left."
"Sabo, don't believe him!" Ace grabbed Sabo, stopping him from leaving. He tried to ignore Luffy's pretending pitiful eyes and said firmly, "I know him too well. This little bastard is definitely up to something bad."
Luffy glared at Ace in dissatisfaction. "I didn't!" He just wanted to find Lucci, not to do anything bad. "Ace is a big idiot!"
"What did you say?" Ace showed a dangerous smile on his face, wanting to teach this little bastard a lesson for daring to call his brother a fool in front of him. However, just as he stretched out his hand to hit Luffy on the head, Sabo grabbed his hand. Ace shouted in confusion, "Hey, Sabo, what are you doing? You don't believe him anymore, do you!?"
"Sabo~" Luffy immediately shouted in a pitiful voice.
"Luffy, what's wrong with you?" Sabo immediately became nervous when he saw Luffy calling him like that. He quickly let go of Ace's hand and came close to Luffy and asked nervously, "Does it hurt anywhere?"
Luffy continued to complain in a pitiful tone, "Ace always wants to beat me up and doesn't want to give me food."
"What?" Sabo immediately turned around and glared at Ace, scolding him, "Ace, you're going too far. How could you treat Luffy like this?"
"That's right, it's too much!" Luffy responded from the side.
Ace twitched his lips, looked at Sabo who was also glaring at him with accusing eyes, and complained speechlessly, "Sabo, don't be fooled by him! He must be up to something!"
"I didn't," Luffy said sadly.
"Luffy..." Sabo glanced at the sad Luffy, then immediately turned to Ace and said sternly, "Ace! It's obvious that Luffy is sad because of what you did. How can you still say that!"
"Hey, Sabo!" Looking at Sabo who was completely defeated by Luffy, Ace shouted dissatisfiedly, "Wake up! That guy is stepping on you. He pretends to be naive, but it doesn't mean he is really naive!"
"Sabo~" Luffy ignored Ace and continued to look at Sabo pitifully with his round black eyes. Usually, when he did this, Sanji and Nami would give him food. "I want food."
"Okay, I'll get it now!" Stared at by Luffy's pitiful little eyes, Sabo couldn't hold on for a second and immediately stood up and walked outside.
"Sabo, you're so stupid..." Ace couldn't help but mutter as he watched Sabo's back as he hurried away.
Turning to look at Luffy who had been staring at him, Ace put on the attitude of a stern brother, crossed his arms across his chest, and tried his best to ignore Luffy's eye attacks. "Lu, don't think I will be defeated by you like Sabo. I will always be here watching you, don't even think about getting anywhere-"
Luffy blinked innocently, looking at Ace who suddenly fell asleep on the bed, then grinned and looked around the empty room and the open door. Since Ace wanted to sleep, he should let him sleep quietly. Luffy carefully walked around Ace and slipped out the door.
When Sabo returned with a plate of food, he saw an empty infirmary. Luffy, who was supposed to be lying quietly in bed, was gone. Sabo woke Ace with a confused and worried expression. "Where's Luffy?"
Ace blinked sleepily, then looked up at the hospital bed as he heard Sabo's words, "Isn't he right there...where's Luffy!?"
"What the hell is Luffy doing!?" Ace suddenly woke up and shouted angrily, "I said that little bastard did it on purpose!"
Ace immediately stood up and walked quickly towards the door, while accusing Sabo who was running beside him, "It's all because of your indecision, Sabo!"
"What!?" Sabo retorted dissatisfiedly as he walked outside. "It was you who didn't keep an eye on Luffy when I was getting the food!"
Ace didn't argue with Sabo anymore. Instead, he looked at the empty deck and said with some concern, "Doesn't that guy know that his body can't handle strenuous exercise?"
"He knows, but he won't listen." Sabo continued, then looked at the deck without Luffy and made an immediate decision, "Let's split up. You go to the left, and I'll go to the right."
"Wait." Ace suddenly shouted.
"What's wrong?" Sabo shouted in confusion. Although he didn't know why Ace suddenly ran away, he still quickly followed him.

"Lucci, Lucci, join my pirate group."
Luffy pouted as he looked at Lucci who had hidden his face in the blanket. He continued to pull at the blanket unwillingly and whispered in his ear, "Lucci, Lucci, join me."
"Well... stop it..." Lucci muttered as he turned over and rolled himself into the blanket. He was clearly not awake and was still immersed in his sleep. "Let me sleep a little longer..."
Luffy pouted in dissatisfaction, turned Lucci's body over, and continued to mutter tirelessly, "Then join me, join me, if you join me, I will let you continue to sleep."
"Hmm..." Lucci's face fell into sleep, and he frowned unconsciously as Luffy continued to mutter.
Luffy had a bright smile on his face and continued to mutter, "You agree, right?"
Lucci was so deep in sleep that he couldn't hear Luffy's whisper. He buried his face deeper into the blanket and muttered "Hmm..." in his dream.
"Okay, sleep well, Lucci." Luffy got a satisfactory answer, and considerately pulled the blanket over Lucci and gently patted the scattered golden hair on the pillow.
The frown on Lucci's face relaxed, and he was obviously satisfied that the voices that kept appearing in his ears had finally disappeared. He rubbed the familiar blanket and fell into a deeper sleep.
