Chapter 478 This is kidnapping!
Chapter 478 This is kidnapping!
After saying goodbye to Ace, Sabo left the ship. They could contact each other via Den Den Mushi if anything happened. As for Lucci and Luffy, he would say goodbye to them later via Den Den Mushi.
After watching Sabo leave, Ace looked at Lucci again, who was still unaware that the ship was about to sink, and grinned. He didn't mind going to Fishman Island. He wouldn't leave until Lucci completely gave up the idea of sailing alone, no matter what Lucci's reason was, he wouldn't let him do it.
Ace raised an eyebrow, watching the membrane rising from beneath his feet. This was good; it seemed they were fully prepared and just waiting for Luffy to signal the start of the voyage. The ship was sinking very quickly.
"Huh? It's swelled up!?" Luffy looked at the bubbles rising from his feet in confusion.
"Alright, Luffy." Lucci, seeing the membrane rising, immediately realized that since Luffy couldn't be convinced, there was nothing he could do. "See you next time!"
Ace and Luffy stared in disbelief as Lucci suddenly turned around and jumped onto the railing.
"That's settled then! Thanks everyone!" Lucci grinned at the straw hats on the ship, gave a finger salute, then turned and jumped off the ship onto a mangrove root, waving goodbye as he ran. "Bye-bye!!"
"Eh!?" The Straw Hat Pirates stared in disbelief at Lucci, who had suddenly run away. Lucci's lips twitched. Was the main character really this stubborn? Or had he always been this stubborn? Lucci began to reflect on himself.
"Tsk." Ace gritted his teeth, watching Lucci's fleeing figure, and immediately turned to Luffy, shouting, "Luffy, grab him!"
"Huh?" Luffy exclaimed in confusion, then instantly realized, "I get it! Gum-Gum... Gotcha!!"
"Whoa! Danger, Luffy!!" Lucci reacted the instant Luffy's rubber arm wrapped around his waist, but who taught Luffy to use Armament Haki like that...? Before Lucci could finish his thought, his head slammed hard against the railing, and he stared dizzily at Luffy's suddenly enlarged face in his field of vision. "Ouch..."
"I caught Ace!" Luffy shouted to Ace with a grin, then leaned closer to look at Lucci, who was clearly dizzy in his arms, and said with a bright smile, "Lucci, we're going to Fishman Island."
"Good job, Luffy!!" Ace grinned and gave Luffy a thumbs up. Then, squatting down in front of Lucci, who was wrapped around Luffy's arms with rubber arms, he said with a smug grin, "Alright, accept your fate."
Lucci, regaining his composure, glared at Ace, who was squatting in front of him, clearly gloating. "How could you team up with Luffy! You should be helping me! Do you want to go to Fishman Island!?"
“I wouldn’t mind going to Fishman Island,” Ace said with a smile and a shrug.
"Luffy, set sail!" Qi immediately reminded him. Since Ace was willing to go, then there was no problem.
"Set sail!! Heading to Fishman Island!!" Luffy immediately reacted and shouted happily, his hand still wrapped around Lucci.
"Oh!!" the crew responded with laughter.
"Wait, Luffy! What the hell?! Why are you using Armament Haki?!" Lucci immediately struggled and said, "Luffy, I'm not going to Fishman Island!"
"Hehehe, no way." Luffy said with a grin, "Lucci is coming with me."
"Accept your fate, Luffy won't let you go," Ace mocked.
"Aren't you going back to Whitebeard's ship?!" Lucci glared at Ace.
“I won’t go back until you give up the idea of sailing alone,” Ace grinned.
“You have no reason to stop me!” Lucci glared at Ace in dissatisfaction. “You have no need to stop me. It’s not like I can’t take care of myself.”
Ace's eyes flickered, but he didn't answer Lucci's question. Instead, he looked at Luffy and grinned, "Luffy, hold on tighter. Lucci hasn't given up on escaping yet."
"Oh!" Luffy grinned, tightening his grip on Lucci's arm and placing his foot on Lucci's thigh to stop him from struggling.
"That's enough." Lucci was speechless. He really didn't understand why Ace insisted on him sailing with Luffy, and even seemed more excited than Luffy. He could understand Luffy's excitement, but he just couldn't understand why Ace was so excited.
"As long as you don't leave, I'll have Luffy release you," Ace said with a smile, looking at Lucci who had already given up resisting.
Lucci couldn't help but roll his eyes at Ace. "This is kidnapping!"
"Isn't there no other way? You're really stubborn." Taking advantage of Lucci's inability to move, Ace forcefully pulled on both sides of Lucci's cheeks as punishment.
"Lucci, join me!" Luffy said with a bright smile.
"If I don't join, will you let me go?" Lucci asked, looking at Luffy's excited face.
"No." Luffy grinned, but his voice was unusually firm.
“That’s settled then.” Lucci sighed. In the end, it was still the same. What was the point of his struggle? “Let me go, you idiot.”
"Oh!" Luffy exclaimed excitedly, knowing that Lucci had agreed to join him.
Lucci sighed helplessly, "You guys are truly the most stubborn brothers."
“We should be the ones saying that to you,” Ace retorted.
"My brothers are all very stubborn!" Luffy excitedly hugged his two older brothers.
......
"Lucci! Lucci! Sanji can cook even better now!" Luffy excitedly told Lucci.
“I’ve had it before, and it’s really delicious,” Lucci replied, while greeting Sanji, who looked more mature than he had two years ago, “I’ll be relying on you from now on, Sanji.”
"Your black holes are no longer a challenge for me." Sanji took the cigarette from his mouth and grinned. "I'll provide you with the best food."
Lu Qi laughed. "Thank you for your hard work."
Ever since Lucci agreed to join Luffy, Luffy has been dragging him around on the deck. Even though he already knows his crew and his ship, he still lets Luffy introduce him to the crew and the Sunny, just like before.
When Luffy introduces the Thousand Sunny, he also adds emotional touches like Nami and Robin like to sit here and chat, Zoro likes to train there, he, Killua, and Chopper fish in this spot, and it's where Brook often plays.
Brook is the cool, afro-haired skull that Luffy introduced to them before. He was indeed a little surprised when he saw him, after all, you don't see living bones every day. Well, now you can see them every day.
Lucci looked at Luffy with tender eyes. Even an ordinary ship would become dazzling under Luffy's introduction. Moreover, the Sunny was indeed a great ship. The ship itself was not big, but it contained a lot of things. It was not like a pirate ship at all, but more like a tourist ship for enjoying life. Although he had already visited it once, he still had to say that the ship was very beautiful and really the most suitable ship for Luffy.
"Let's eat our bento now!" Luffy shouted excitedly as he returned to the deck and took out the bag that Hancock had prepared for him.
