After witnessing the entire process, Lucci covered his face in disbelief, wondering why anyone would modify their own body like that.
Ace grinned and said, "He has a robot companion."
“Yes, he’s very excited.” Lucci laughed. “This is the robot he’s always dreamed of.”
"There's a huge octopus up ahead!!" Luffy's eyes lit up as he watched the giant octopus swimming in front of him, shouting excitedly, "Go straight towards the octopus!!"
"It's the captain!" Zoro immediately turned the helm.
"Don't talk nonsense!" Nami exclaimed in shock.
"Never mind, never mind, Miss Nami, I'll be with you..." Sanji, whose body was covered with pictures of various beautiful women, looked at Nami with hearts in his eyes. As he spoke, he uncontrollably turned his head and spurted a little blood from his nose. Then, with hearts still in his eyes, he continued, "I'll be with you."
"That's great, Sanji." Chopper said happily, looking at Sanji who only had a little bit of nosebleed. "Thanks to the rehabilitation training and Nami's coat."
"Didn't you see how big that octopus is?!" Usopp jumped to Luffy's side in alarm, grabbed Luffy's shoulder and shouted, "It might be a giant beast from the North Blue that has lived for hundreds of years!!"
"Hahaha, I'm going to tame that guy!" Luffy said with a bright smile, completely ignoring Usopp's fear.
"Wow, not bad at all," Franky praised, looking at the sketchbook in Robin's hand.
“Because it’s a rare sight,” Robin said calmly as he drew.
Chopper looked at Robin in disbelief. "You're so laid-back!"
“They’ve always been like this…” Lucci watched as the ship rushed toward the giant octopus that had stopped swimming ahead.
“He’s always been this willful,” Qi said with a smile. “Don’t be too surprised.”
"This is really interesting." Ace grinned and said, "I didn't expect you guys to go along with Luffy in something like this."
“Yo ho ho, whatever the captain thinks,” Brooke said softly, overhearing their conversation.
Lucci and Ace exchanged a glance and grinned.
"Up close, this thing is ridiculously big!" Zoro jumped off the deck, placed his hand on the hilt of his sword, and exclaimed as he looked at the giant octopus that was staring at them menacingly.
Everyone on the deck was ready for battle.
"Gear Third!" Luffy bit his thumb, preparing to strike the octopus first, but before he could blow on his hand, Usopp pulled him back.
"Stop! Your powerful attacks will break the membrane!!" Usopp grabbed Zoro and Luffy, who were eager to attack, and shouted in terror, "Use the Wind Cannon to dodge!"
“No, the Wind Cannon and the Lion's Roar Cannon require a lot of air to fire, and our air supply is limited, so we can’t use it indiscriminately,” Franky explained.
“I have a way to get you out there and fight,” Lucci said, looking at Luffy.
"Great!" Luffy shouted excitedly, "Help me, Lucci!"
"Is this all you need, Lucci?" Sanji asked, looking at the bubbles on his body.
"Can I go now!?" Luffy asked excitedly, looking at the bubbles covering him.
"Wait a minute," Lucci said, tying a rope around Luffy's waist. "Take this with you."
"Don't break it, Luffy," Ace warned from the side, holding the rope binding Luffy.
"This rope is in the way," Luffy pouted, dissatisfied.
"Tear it off, and I won't let you go out like that next time," Lucci warned, ignoring Luffy's dissatisfaction.
"I'm leaving!" Luffy rushed out impatiently.
"Wait for me, Luffy!" Zoro and Sanji shouted in unison and rushed out as well.
Lucci held onto the ropes binding Zoro and Sanji to prevent them from being swept away by the ocean current.
"Give me some time, because I'm going to finish it off with my strongest attack!" Luffy excitedly charged towards the giant octopus, dodging its tentacles. "Gear Third!! Ugh... I can't get any strength in the sea..."
"Are you planning to take down the octopus all by yourself?" Sanji looked at Luffy's enormous fist, which was covered in Armament Haki, and quickened his pace, bursting out of the bubble. "Sea Walk!!"
Sanji glared angrily at the giant octopus tentacles in front of him. The thought of what he had experienced over the past two years filled him with rage. Compared to those disgusting guys, this creature was nothing like a monster in his eyes.
Sanji angrily kicked at the octopus's outstretched tentacles, his rage unquenched even by the seawater. "Diable Jambe, Grilled Kick!!" The octopus tentacle that Sanji kicked immediately emitted a grilled meat aroma.
On the other side, Zoro also launched an attack: "Three-Sword Style Secret Technique! Six Paths Shift!!" The other octopus tentacle that was trying to attack Sanji was instantly slashed into countless pieces.
"Hey, Zoro, Sanji, you've almost destroyed all of its tentacles! I still need them to pull the ship!!" Luffy shouted in dissatisfaction, while simultaneously slamming his massive fist, imbued with Armament Haki, towards the octopus's head. "Gum-Gum... Elephant Gun!!"
"It's been knocked away!!" Usopp stared in shock at the giant octopus that Luffy had sent flying.
"Just how strong has that guy become?!" Nami exclaimed in shock.
Lucci and Ace wore relieved smiles, with Lucci chuckling softly.
"It looks like something came out of the octopus," Chopper said, looking at the octopus that Luffy had knocked away. Then, a huge shark wearing clothes swam out of the octopus's body. "A shark!?"
"A shark?" Luffy looked at the shark thanking him with a puzzled expression. After watching the shark leave, Luffy didn't pay much attention. Instead, he ran to the unconscious octopus with Bubble, punched it again to wake it up, and discussed with it about having it go and pull the Sunny.
Zoro and Sanji watched helplessly as Luffy threatened the octopus with his fists to pull the ship back to the Sunny. The three of them quickly carried the octopus back along the rope.
"Luffy, the underwater volcano is about to erupt!" As soon as Luffy returned to the ship, Nami immediately shouted, "Quickly tell the Kraken to leave this place immediately!"
“It started running a long time ago,” Lucci said with a smile.
"You guys are really lucky," Ace said with a grin.
"They ran away looking so pathetic," Robin remarked calmly.
"I really want to see the volcano erupt!" Luffy exclaimed excitedly, his hand supporting his bubble as he stared intently at the volcano behind the ship. "Wow!! It's erupting!!"
"The lava is flowing towards the seabed!" Nami swallowed hard as she watched the gushing lava, unable to imagine what would have happened if they hadn't left in time.
"Run! Dried squid!" Luffy grinned widely. "The lava's coming!"
"Charge to that trench!!" Nami shouted, looking at the Log Pose on her wrist. "It's right in front of us!"
The Straw Hat crew stared in horror at the seemingly bottomless trench ahead.
Ace and Lucci remained calm, since there was nothing they could do about it. Ever since Luffy told them to start chasing the octopus, their ship had completely deviated from the original current. Since they couldn't go to Fishman Island the original way, they had no choice but to take this more dangerous route.
